I'm hoping I've not missed something (Urghhhh if I have).

Was accepted for the 0% 18mnths (online application), received the acceptance letter requesting me to sign and return. The pre-paid envelope had the "Please ensure you return......" on the back. One of which was the identification forms. The acceptance information / letter I received made NO mention of returning ID with the signed form. As this was out of the norm I rang the CapOne support number to be told that the envelope is a standard envelope and that if the documents didn't request and ID doc's then that is ok.

Did everyone else return ID doc's???? (please say no, only signed and returned the enclosed form - here's hoping)

I never had a request for ID, just sent in the agreement T & C's....So dont worry your not the only one.

Got accepted for the 18 month deal but no further contact after sending back the signed forms (no extra ID BTW).

Checked my egg cards today and found a verrrry healthy credit balance on them BOTH!!!

First time I have used my Egg cards in this way. Any suggestions as to the best way to get my hands on the cash? Balnce transfer using online facility or call them?
  • My platinum card arrived one day this week (I was in Budapest, so can't give an exact date!). I posted my signed credit agreement back on the 1st April.

I can't help thinking that by applying for only the 2nd offer, and not asking for (or even understanding) a BT, I've knocked back my credit rating myself.

With nothing to transfer apart from a mortgage and a joint business repayment (that's just about covered in cash now), I've a feeling I should have ignored this 'Grabbit', but well done to those that got it.

It makes me feel warm, but not for long ;)
