I have also been accepted for the 18m offer. Initially I got the wait 14 days message, then got the agreement to sign in the post over the weekend. As others have said, no limit was specified so I signed the credit agreement and await news of my limit (better not be as shockingly low as my Barclaycard one or I'll be cross).

Phil
Same as you phil, have just received today a letter saying my application for 18 months 0% balance transfers has just been accepted and all i need to do is sign and return the credit agreement.
However no mention of the credit limit - just says in the summary box under under amount of credit limit 'minimum credit limit of £1000; maximum credit limit £25000'
Phoned them up to ask them what my limit is, and thats not decided until i return the signed agreement
Now do i write my requests for the Balance transfer on the form now (i have £9000 in total to transfer), or shall i leave it until i receive the card and know how much my limit will be? I hope it will cover what i am hoping to transfer.
Was pleased to be accepted though :j , i was getting worried as quite a few people on here have not been accepted for the full 18 months.
Oh and when i applied for the barcalaycard last year i got the highest limit i have ever got on a card. more than twice as much as my egg which i have held for nearly 4 years, then after 3 months they increased it by another £1500!
(just noticed there are 2 threads on the cap one 0% 18month topic so i posted this on the other one too)0 -
I applied for a Capital One card and altho' I have Platinum Barclaycard and Gold Nat West with £20000 limits and never been in debt anywhere, they told me my credit rating failed! However I could have one of thier 12.9% cards!Bennys from sunny Manchester0

Could anybody tell me around how many days or weeks did it take for the card to arrive from the time you have received your two forms of ID back from Capital One? As i have jsut received my Id's i had sent to them last week this morning, so what would be next? do i receive the card and sign and that's it?0

Ive never had any dealings with this company, and reading this thread it seems they are inconsistent at best, so I will keep a close eye on proceedings. I got accepted for the 18month offer no problems the same as everyone else, but no mention of credit limits, other than the standard 1000 to 25000.
Does semm a bit too good to be true.........doesn't it?0 -
So has anyone had any credit limits or balance transfer limits back yet?0

I'm hoping I've not missed something (Urghhhh if I have).
Was accepted for the 0% 18mnths (online application), received the acceptance letter requesting me to sign and return. The pre-paid envelope had the "Please ensure you return......" on the back. One of which was the identification forms. The acceptance information / letter I received made NO mention of returning ID with the signed form. As this was out of the norm I rang the CapOne support number to be told that the envelope is a standard envelope and that if the documents didn't request and ID doc's then that is ok.
Did everyone else return ID doc's???? (please say no, only signed and returned the enclosed form - here's hoping)

Was thinking the same thing cloud_dog when i read this earlier. I'm sure it didn't ask for ID on the one i sent off.
from the letter i have here:Thank you for your recent application for a Capital One Platinum Mastercard. I am delighted to tell you that we've approved your application and your card is ready for you. All we need is your signature and your card will be with you in the next 7-10 working days.
Please read, sign and return the attached agreement in the freepost envelope we have provided so that we can open your account and send out your new card.
so no requests for ID
Am surprised i got accepted. Last year they gave me some cr*ppy card with a £200 limit, which i only cancelled a month ago. (£200 was no good to me so the in week after i applied for the barclaycard and got a £7000 limit. strange?)0 -
