    that is annoying.
At this comparison site you can get an indication of your credit rating and the cards you are likely to get approved.

  • Well I got accepted, returned the form, they lost the form!

Sent me another and I returned it, nearly 3 weeks later I'm still wondering...

    Quote from previous posts:

"That will only get you £95 cashback.
See previous discussion in thread. You need to spend an extra 34 pence."
    "For £100 cashback spend £3333.34p"

Don't start them off again :grin:

Will Aqua charge me if I don't spend anything on their card one month or if i stop using it all together?
I don't remember anything in the T&Cs about that but I'm sure someone else can offer a more solid answer.

My first overseas transaction just appeared on my statement - no additional fees and the amount charged was actually slightly less than the exchange rate at the time (according to Google). :)

unless there is something outstanding from the prevoious months, there is nothing they can charge you for!
And as far I know, there are no charges for not using the card.

If you stop using it all together, they have a right to cancel your card and invalidate your cash back, but thats unlikely unless you leave it for a long period (say, 6 months or more).

Do they let you set up a direct debit with aqua also are they likely to reject your application if you have a good credit history (i.e clearing balances monthly and not profitable for them)?

Years ago I had a Mint card and they told me because I had not used the account in 6 months they were closing it. Sometimes they close cards due to not fitting the criteria as well and remove your ability to buy on it; just let you pay off what you owe.
