I'll send them a secure message and see what that gets me.

Edit: message sent - I asked them to clarify whether I would forfeit any current/future cashback.

We'll see what they say, not holding my breath :)

I can't find their Ts and Cs either. It's what's stopped me applying.

I am good at searching but can't find the T&C on their website...

I know, most credit cards treat foreign currency purchases as cash advances. Is it the case for Aqua?

    THIS may help.

You could apply then be sent the T&C's, until you send that form back signed you will be under no obligation

A quick question, I have just made the payment today on my aqua credit card through FP, the available balance has already been updated. Does it mean you are usually ok to spend again now or should I wait for the payment to show up on the online statement before using the card?

Do you mean TO your Aqua credit card. The balance is the best guidance of how much is on your card as statements can be well out of date by the time you see them online.

I applied for an Aqua card 6 months ago and was declind. Today I have received a letter saying

'it's been a while since you last applied, we thought it could be time for ou to reapply. '

Letter goes into their rates etc.

So do you think it's worth a go? Or is this going to be a wasted application - if they declined me before will they again?

I know no one knows. I just wondered if anyone else has had a letter like this re-applied and been approved/ declined?

Btw I have defaults satisfied on my records but rising limits with a number of accounts so must be doing something right, no late payments or anything since last adverse. That adverse would have been there when I last applied.

    Thanks

Thanks, but I'm not happy with them credit checking me without seeing the terms of the product!

As soon as the "Available balance" has been updated (typically within 2 hours or overnight), then you can spend again. I remember spending £300 of my £500 limit in the morning, paying it off, and spending another £300 in the afternoon, paying that off, and then spending a further £150 the next day. 3 days later, all three transactions appeared on my statement.

Your "Current balance" is pretty much useless and only seems to get updated once your statement is updated.

I had the same decline then letter 6months later asking if I wanted to reapply. Since the decline I applied for the Capital one secured card which has been paid in full each month. I did reapply for the Aqua reward card and Luckily I did get accepted this time. I think the Capital one green ticks helped and also my Simplybe catalogue account that's been paid each month.
I would certainly go ahead and give it a try it worked for me.
    Good luck

That's reassuring. I have had a JD Williams account since April which reports as well as Very so let's see! I will reapply. Thank you :)

I would say reapply also. My feeling is things have gotten better in the last 6-12 months in terms of lenders becoming comfortable with offering credit again. Also, FWIW - I just applied for Aqua a week ago and got accepted - and my credit rating is not stellar.
