Aqua Reward Credit Card - 3% cashback up to £100/year

I was told everyone who hadn't opted to change to the 0.5% card would receive a cheque next week for any credit balance.
I was told 4 different things from 3 different advisors this week (2 different things from the same advisor in 2 separate phone calls).
1. It would be credited at the end of the month
2. A cheque would be sent out at the end of the month
3. It would be credited on 14 March
4. It would be credited by the end of the week
Edit - I've just remembered a 5th thing
5. I would need to call with my bank details and they would pay it into my bank account.0 -
I have it in writing (a letter they sent me) that cashback will be paid w/c 17th Feb, unless it put your account into credit, which would mean a cheque would follow within 2 weeks from w/c 17th feb.
They have paid the cashback into my account, putting it into credit anyway.
I also still have the direct debit in place from my last statement, so no doubt they will take that too.
Anyway - I have messaged them to try and get it refunded to my bank account, or the credit balance returned by cheque.
(I suspect that when they collect the DD, I'll have to ask them for that back too).
Pretty poor service really.0 -
I don't think they will take the DD. The way Aqua works is that any payments or credits to the account up to around 5 days before the DD is due reduce the outstanding balance.0

Yay, cashback received and it wasn't rounded down (so I actually ended up with slightly above £100 due to their earlier correction). Final balance is ~£500 and will be paid by DD next week. All sorted.0

Got both of ours, even after my last statement showed no cash back at all.
Both our accounts though show the full credit limit available to spend, has everyone else still got the available balance that did not sign up for the new card?
£100 for each of us, now will wait for the cheques as they have said.
Thanks for the free money Aqua, and please do a 3% card again soon, even with a paltry limit that took a bit of management!0 -
Hmm - cashback credited is 86p short due to the 20th Jan spending not being included in the calculation. For 86p I can't be bothered to chase. For a £10 good will payment I might beI think....0

Has anyone been credited with their loyalty reward twice?
17 Feb 14 18 Feb 14 LOYALTY AWARD -£20.00 CR
21 Feb 14 21 Feb 14 LOYALTY AWARD -£23.00 CR
No idea what this is:
23 Feb 14 23 Feb 14 PLAN BALANCE TRANSFER £12.41 DR
23 Feb 14 23 Feb 14 PLAN BALANCE TRANSFER -£12.41 CR
I earned £23, I hardly used it as kept forgetting. I'm sure it will correct before they send a cheque. All that glitters is not gold.0 -
My direct debit was taken a day or so before the £100 "loyalty award" so now I am £100 in credit. I anticipate (!) receiving a cheque in a couple of weeks.
Let's hope so, anyway.0 -
Same here, loyalty award put my account £82.11 in credit0
-
Yep, cash back received, now just waiting for the cheque.
It would have been far easier to just let me spend it, but I can live with a cheque.0
