All done! I reckon I'm on £99 cashback now. :D

Better spend another £34 then quick smart or you'll only get £95 cashback.

Ah, thanks for reminding me. Just added some more money to my Thames Water account, should see me through until August haha.

From memory, these cards were supposed to stop working on the 22nd (assuming you didn't accept the 0.5% cashback offer going forward). Has anyone tried yet and seen their transaction declined, or is it tomorrow that it will stop?

I couldn't spend enough on it in time to get my full £100 again, but think I got to about £40.

I haven't tried because I received notice a couple of months back telling me the card will not work from today.

I also received an email and a phone call (well a voice text) recently reminding me it won't work.

I have other cards I can use. I'm not sure why you would expect me to attempt to use a card I had been notified will no longer work.

My Aquacard is now in several pieces in the bin. Now the 3% cashback is gone is gone it's a piece of crud. Still, £200 to me over the last 2 years and £0 to them in interest/charges.

Why they begin to think anyone would be interested in a 0.5% cashback card (lot better rates around) with pathetic credit limits is beyond me. Probably the same genius who thought up this card in the first place , thinking it would make profits for them..... A doomed outfit waiting to be taken over by someone.

I see they have changed the 'deadline' due to 'low uptake'. I think I would have guessed the latter without having to try it out.

I tried to use the card 3 times yesterday before the penny dropped! This included trying to pay for a train ticket at the head of a long queue, when a train was approaching! I wasn't very popular, especially as I then asked for a receipt (to claim back on expenses. I paid cash.)

I've got a Luma cashback card and a Santander 123 one. Just need to find one now that gives me cashback on other things not covered by those cards. I do have an Amazon one somewhere that I think gives 0.5% in points towards an Amazon voucher and I think my Nationwide one gives 0.5% cashback. I don't really want to apply for a new card as I'm not working at present and I've already got too many. I was pleasantly surprised to be accepted for the Luma card under the circumstances.
