From memory, these cards were supposed to stop working on the 22nd (assuming you didn't accept the 0.5% cashback offer going forward). Has anyone tried yet and seen their transaction declined, or is it tomorrow that it will stop?
I couldn't spend enough on it in time to get my full £100 again, but think I got to about £40.

I haven't tried because I received notice a couple of months back telling me the card will not work from today.
I also received an email and a phone call (well a voice text) recently reminding me it won't work.
I have other cards I can use. I'm not sure why you would expect me to attempt to use a card I had been notified will no longer work. :huh:0 -
My Aquacard is now in several pieces in the bin. Now the 3% cashback is gone is gone it's a piece of crud. Still, £200 to me over the last 2 years and £0 to them in interest/charges.
Why they begin to think anyone would be interested in a 0.5% cashback card (lot better rates around) with pathetic credit limits is beyond me. Probably the same genius who thought up this card in the first place , thinking it would make profits for them..... A doomed outfit waiting to be taken over by someone.0 -

I tried to use the card 3 times yesterday before the penny dropped! This included trying to pay for a train ticket at the head of a long queue, when a train was approaching! I wasn't very popular, especially as I then asked for a receipt (to claim back on expenses. I paid cash.)
I've got a Luma cashback card and a Santander 123 one. Just need to find one now that gives me cashback on other things not covered by those cards. I do have an Amazon one somewhere that I think gives 0.5% in points towards an Amazon voucher and I think my Nationwide one gives 0.5% cashback. I don't really want to apply for a new card as I'm not working at present and I've already got too many. I was pleasantly surprised to be accepted for the Luma card under the circumstances.3 stone down, 3 more to go0
