In the paperwork sent nothing mentioned this though which I feel is a little cheeky!
Of course they did - just look at the answer to Question 8 of the scanned document in post 1985
Having said that if most of your cc spend is in the UK, there are other cash back cards which pay more than 0.5%..

I don't remember getting such a letter but I presume I must of - I take it back!
Still pretty sharp though!Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0 -
Paying my rent in part instalments using my card. Should complete the transaction before Wednesday. Unfortunately there's a 2% surcharge for using a credit card so I'll only get 1% back, but £22 is still £22.
Doing the same for large gas bill (1.5% surcharge) and water bill.

<cough>One option I am considering is part of a family member's income tax bill - 1.4%
</cough>

We didn't get round to posting them until Thursday 2nd January!! :eek:
Because of the poor response to the so called new card they have extended the date to apply for a new card to 7th February 2014. You don't actually get a new card but carry on with your old card the only difference is you now get 0.5% interest. After the 22nd January there will be about 3 days when you wont be able to use the card while they sort their systems out.0 -
I was going to sign up for the new card because of the no foreign currency transaction fees, but saw that the Post Office credit card also has no fees, plus £40 cashback through TCB.
Still, this was a nice card while it lasted...0 -
All done! I reckon I'm on £99 cashback now.Paying my rent in part instalments using my card. Should complete the transaction before Wednesday. Unfortunately there's a 2% surcharge for using a credit card so I'll only get 1% back, but £22 is still £22.
