Aqua Reward Credit Card - 3% cashback up to £100/year

Just received my cashback after using Aquacard since last july...
Somehow I was credited with £110! Possibly because it was a partial refund of a £19 charge I got last month when I accidentally went over my limit (£500).
So overall I got £91 out of them :beer:0 -
I have never seen cashbacks online and had to wait for paper statements which does.
For that reason, I haven't gone paperless with Aqua.
If you go paperless, you are supposed to get a pdf version of the paper bill.
I'm not sure why you can only get a pdf version if you go paperless. If they offered it to all, and customers could see what they get before they jumped, they might get a larger take up of paperless billing0 -
Have been watching this thread for a while and waiting until my £100.00 credit had been deposited, so my input: -
Accepted for card July 2012.
First spend on card 16th July 2012.
First statement,(paper), dated 17th August 2012.
Statement dated 18th June 2013 has my cashback as £98.50.
I have spent £53.10 since Junes statement @ 3% cashback = £1.59, added to £98.50 = £100.09.
Have just looked online at my statement dated 17th July 2013 and cashback of £100.00 has been credited.
In their T&Cs 11.3 they state: "We will pay cashback by crediting your account or sending a cheque for the amount of accrued cashback within 1 month of your anniversary".
From reading this thread I have not seen anyone receive cashback by cheque, so it looks like Aqua decide how to pay and that will be by crediting the account thereby putting it into credit, assuming debits have not been made to reduce this, i.e. with me, not knowing exactly when the cashback would be credited, I only used it sparingly for the last month, and as such my balance, after the cashback, is £67.71 in credit.
Why won't they send a cheque? Personally I would prefer this.
.
Cheques cost money. Crediting your account is much cheaper ... and safer.0 -

Check post 1633, two above yours. Apparently they don't offer paperless bills yet.0 -
Wish I'd seen that cheque line before I spent the cashback. No doubt we don't get 3% cashback on this £100 spend so I'd rather have it in Santander 123...
I see no reason you won't earn the 3% cashback if you spend the £100 credit. (You won't get cashback if you ask for the credit to be returned), unless you have already bust this year's limit too.0 -

Yeah, just got to reading that one.
But as I understand it, when they do start offering paperless billings, you will be able to get a pdf version of the paper bill.
But only if you opt for paperless billing. I think it should be available to all so people can 'try before they buy'0 -
So I changed my Skybet payment card to my Aqua card and placed a £5 bet.
I log onto my Aqua account today and see a £3.00 cash advance fee on my transactions.
I call Aqua to complain, and I am told gambling of any sort on the Aqua credit card is treated as a Cash withdrawal.
Is this just an Aqua thing or is this the same with all Credit cards?
Obviously, if I had known I would have just used my debit card instead.
After not approving my credit limit increase request from £250.00 and requiring me to provide 2 forms of ID for my Aqua classic card despite already holding the Cashback card with them, I am losing patience with Aqua.0 -

It's standard with all credit cards. The cash advance fee will differ with each provider.Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!0 -
Yes very common practice these days, unfortunately.
It's made quite clear in the terms and conditions too to be fair to them.0
