Payment for each month is on the last working day of the following month. You should not have received any interest before the end of May unless you opened the account in March. All transactions are backdated to the 1st of the month for compounding purposes.Out of interest, did you find anything much better than the current 4.49%?0

Just opening moneybox isa now. The process seems a bit too slick, I don't feel like enough details were taken when setting up the original registration. Now it wants a direct debit with my current account. Is this all normal?
The website looks similar to the new cynergy one, are they linked companies?

I think the direct debit thing is standard for them. I've got one, never been used.oz0707 said:Just opening moneybox isa now. Shawbrook 1yr fix ISA up 4.31% from 4.01%.
Thought the BoE are expected to cut rates.3 -
Indeed, My Shawbrook ISA is maturing in a few weeks. I did a transfer request to Paragon yesterday. Have cancelled the transfer today and gone with Shawbrook for another year. Might be a good move by Shawbrook to catch some easy access ISA account holders when the rates drop on Thursday?2010 said:Shawbrook 1yr fix ISA up 4.31% from 4.01%.

That's a tempting rate... although unfortunately Shawbrook only let you subscribe to one ISA with them each tax year, so that rules me out2010 said:Shawbrook 1yr fix ISA up 4.31% from 4.01%.

Sod`s law, I`ve just transferred from Shawbrook because when my ISA matured last week the 1yr was only 4.01%.
But not too bad as Charter were/are paying 4.27%.0
