    Thanks.

It also looks like Issue 1 has also been increased to 3.00% although mine is still showing as 2.25% in my online account.

Not that I have them, but  - yes, as far as I can see issue 1 has been increased, but not issues 2 and 3 .....??
The original post was about issue 2 being 3.00%, and as far as I can see there is no cash ISA exclusive issue 3.
Apologies! Mis-read the listing on their website which included both the easy access (being discussed ...) AND the 1 year fixed exclusives.....

I cannot see a Virgin Money 1 year fixed exclusive. Do you have a link?
  • I opened a Markus easy access ISA yesterday at 2.5%.I am now going to transfer it to the 3% Virgin ISA.I am a Virgin current account holder. Things are moving fast.

It says you need a current account with them. Do you have to switch to them (from another bank) or can you just open a new current account with them to be able to open the ISA?
No switch required, and you get 2% on the current account for balances up to £1,000, and a linked savings account paying 2% for balances up to £25k.

Used to be close to market leading but have fallen off of late. I am expecting the linked savings account to increase its rate soon.

Being a flexible ISA, I had moved all my isa monies out recently, leaving £1, to the santander 2.75% non ISA saver....

Just transfered it all back in from santander :)

Sorry, I'm confusing things .... the original post was about the easy access exclusive ....

I was looking at the update to the Issue 1 rate on the 'no longer available' interest rate page - which included the previously available 1 year fixed accounts.

    Apologies again ....

And once again the best easy access saver is the VM ISA. Madness!

I wonder if this is the start of a new interest rate war. I think I will hang fire for a day or two until the dust settles a bit.

No worries. This is my post BoE announcement mode with the old FOMO panic.  :D

I do now recall some VM exclusive Fixed ISAs, but not at particularly enticing rates.

Hmmm me too. I was just about to open the VM Cash ISA Exclusive but will hang fire. I only opened one with Santander in September to receive maturing Nationwide 'Loyalty' FRISA.

Thanks i have just opened the current account (on the app) and ISA (online- can't do it on the app). All pretty straightforward. Now waiting for the transfer from Coventry BS ISA to go through.
