Any chance of someone beating the Virgin 2 year fix or is it better getting that whilst it’s available?savit4l8er said:
I thought just the same and grabbed them last night but there could be better yet. See what today's events have in store but it might all be priced in for a while now. 😉cricidmuslibale said:
I don't think that Virgin Money would have known that Coventry had already withdrawn their fixed rate ISAs when they increased the interest rates on their 2 and 3 year fixed ISAs, otherwise surely they would have kept their previous 2 and 3 year fixed ISA rates, at least for the time being.savit4l8er said:
Maybe trying to top the Coventry rates which were pulled.t1redmonkey said:Meanwhile, Virgin have just increased their fixed term ISA rates (on 2 and 3 years) to 4.36% and 4.41% respectively.16 Panel (250W JASolar) 4kWp, facing 170 degrees, 40 degree slope, Solis Inverter. Yep...and you need to physically go to one of their branches to apply for the ISA. A lot of people probably don't live near one of their branches.Rheumatoid said:

It also looks like Issue 1 has also been increased to 3.00% although mine is still showing as 2.25% in my online account.

I just phoned their customers service to enquire about the transfer process, didnt inspire confidence. Was an overseas call centre and I struggled to understand what they were trying to say. Just kept referring me to the website for most of my questions. Trustpilot has mostly poor reviews about them also.t1redmonkey said:

It says you need a current account with them. Do you have to switch to them (from another bank) or can you just open a new current account with them to be able to open the ISA?myth123 said:Virgin Money Cash ISA exclusive is at 3% now https://uk.virginmoney.com/savings/products/easy_access_cash_isa_exclusive_issue_2/1 -
No switch required, and you get 2% on the current account for balances up to £1,000, and a linked savings account paying 2% for balances up to £25k.ASL1 said:

Used to be close to market leading but have fallen off of late. I am expecting the linked savings account to increase its rate soon.2 -
Apologies! Mis-read the listing on their website which included both the easy access (being discussed ...) AND the 1 year fixed exclusives.....RG2015 said:
