Cash ISAs: The Best Currently Available List

Bit like the New York and Las Vegas stickys are endorsed and the information verified by MSE Towers :undecided:undecided:undecided:undecided
I'm not familiar with those threads, perhaps the policy varies between boards? The ISA savings section is very popular.
I'm only speculating as to the reasons for non-stickiness, I've not heard anything from the horse's mouth :money:Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -
There are still people looking for the best currently available but this thread has slipped to page 2 so I'm bumping back to front page to assist others.
All the best,

Hi Everyone. I have been reading through the most recent postings with regards to why this thread has not been made a sticky.
Initially, this thread was made a sticky during the first few years, but then the mods removed it's sticky status. The reason given was:There is already the official "Best ISA" thread and as that is where people are directed to through the article...
There is a possibility that new MSE members won't see the thread if it's not on the first page of the ISAs board, but I have noticed that other posters have been linking to this thread in other threads and they have been bringing it to the attention of newbie members. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
That's because this is a better thread Kazza :-)0

Absolutely, I have been reading this thread before I do any new ISA investment or shifting existing ones since the time Kazza set it up. thats why I have subscribed to the thread since they undid the sticky so that I do not have to search for it. now I just go to my usercp link and go to this thread from there.
Keep it up Kazza:beer::beer::beer:0 -
If there are no further suggestions, I'll shortly send the following message to the relevant moderators.Dear Moderators,
I would like to request that Kazza's list of the Best ISAs currently on offer (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/401374) is stickied in the ISAs & Tax-free savings subforum.
The list is regularly updated and is an excellent resource. I see it as a supplement to the Top Cash ISAs page (http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/best-cash-isa), sometimes beating the latter by including new ISAs first. (I'm sure the reverse is true sometimes too.)
Being stickied would keep this resource at the top of the subforum, without sometimes falling down the list and even occasionally getting lost on a subsequent page. Some people have even started bumping the thread to prevent the latter from happening. A sticky would be a more effective solution, and would save people having to make contentless posts to achieve this end.
I can see two possible concerns.
(1) The list is not endorsed (and checked) by the site owners.
(2) There is already a pinned thread about the best cash ISA offers available.
In response to (1), I don't think a sticky implies an endorsement by the site owners (and indeed there are other stickied threads elsewhere on the forum that are independently maintained) and if this is an issue a disclaimer could be added to the thread, explaining that the list is the work of Kazza and has not been checked by the forum staff.
Regarding (2), I think there is room for two stickies on the best Cash ISAs - one for general discussion and one for a specific resource. If needed, Kazza's thread could include a link to the other stickied discussion.
In summary I'd like to request that you consider stickying Kazza's thread at least if (a) a disclaimer and (b) a link to the other stickied ISA thread are added.
Thank you.0 -
Thanks for the PM flergalwit. This is now a sticky thread.
I see there are still references to "mods" so it would be appreciated if those who aren't absolutely clear on the difference between a Board Guide and the Forum Team could take note of the following link:

Thanks Kazza for your efforts with this thread :T0 -
Thank you Crabman, Kazza and especially flergalwit for the persistence in getting this great thread stickied. Well done

Yes great news that this is now a sticky thread.
For anyone hoping to open the Birmingham Midshires Inflation Linked Isa - 5 years, it appears to have been withdrawn as there is no mention of it on their website. It has probably been replaced by the 4.25% 5 year FRISA.0 -
Looks like the Natwest(Preferential) /RBS 2Yr and 3Yr fixed isas have dropped interest to 3.6% and 3.8% respectively.. also the Start date is now 4th July (until that date your deposit only earns 2%..)0
