Yes, very quick call, all sorted in a few minutes 😁
Worth also mentioning, they now do electronic transfers! Makes things so much faster not having to send a paper transfer form!

However their website only seems to point you in the direction of a paper form for a Principality account upgrade.

When I log into my account, under the account options (or whatever it's called), I now have an option to start a transfer. The advisor told me it has recently been introduced.
Probably best to do the upgrade over the phone, then use the electronic transfer option.

Upgrade to Principality Online Bonus 5 access cash ISA can be done by logging in and sending a secure message. No need to phone. Unfortunately they are doing website maintenance at the moment so you will have to wait until later.
"Already have an online only Principality ISA? You can transfer your balance to an Online Bonus 5 Access Cash ISA without applying for a new account. Just send us a secure message via your online profile. You'll need to confirm you have read and agree to the account terms and summary box above."
Apart from getting 4.2% instead of 4%, upgrading resets your 12 month interest bonus and resets your 5 withdrawals which is useful if you have used up some.
This is also a flexible cash ISA. Worth remembering that if you have made withdrawals this tax year you have less than 2 weeks to top your flexible cash ISA to its full balance to preserve it for future years.

PBS online login now works, I have opened the issue 7 but as above the online transfer in isn't available for internal PBS ISA transfers. Rather than mess about I'll call into branch tomorrow with the from/to details. That's been done without issue on previous occasions.

Do Principality now also accept transfer in forms electronically? The paper forms were a show stopper before for me.

Opened an issue 7 over the weekend, asked by secure message for the issue 5 to be transferred (and closed).
Completed by 14:45 today.

Yes, there is a drop-down to select your existing provider and input your details.

If you try and initiate an electronic transfer immediately after opening the account, you can get into a doom loop where you click the transfer in link and it just takes you back to the account list. I found that if you logout and log back in again, it all works fine. I initiated two transfers yesterday (Sunday) after opening (from Vida and Aldermore) and they've both been accepted already.

I saw the Principality BS Online Bonus 5 Access Cash ISA (issue 7) and I added it to the list on page 1 last Friday 20th March 2026.
For anyone wanting to view the cash ISAs list (and recent additions), please see the link on the first page, here.
