    Thanks. :)

I could've sworn I'd replied to this days ago. Obviously not. I'm not sure how well the interview went. I got quite nervous and I'm not sure I answered some of the questions very well. Considering the guy said he was after a 'people person', I don't think I managed to convince him that I was one. He said that if I'd got the job, he'd call me today or tomorrow. There's been nothing so far today so I'm guessing I'm not his first choice.

Tbh, I'm not that disappointed at the thought I might not get that particular job. :o I know I should be, I know I should want any job atm but the guy was perfectly honest at the interview, they wanted a minimum wage dogsbody (not his words, I might add.) I know jobs are hard work (that's why they call them 'work') and I know I must sound really lazy right now but I can't help it, I just don't want him to call back. :o

  • Hi,

Yep, sure enough, no call. Oh well, on to the next job. I've dropped a CV in at the Money Shop earlier this week (slightly against my ethics but needs must) and I have a few more jobs to apply for so hopefully, one of them will come through. In the meantime, I'm cracking on with the house move. Next job - cleaning mould off the bathroom walls.

  • If you're thinking of buying Sainsbury's own Antibacterial Multi-Surface spray, don't. It's next to useless on mould (hot water would probably do a better job) and I feel like I've hacked up half a lung breathing in all the chemicals in it. Household cleaners really are a chemical minefield. I wish I could afford some that are a bit more eco-friendly (and person friendly) but they're all so expensive. :(

  • I've just got my TV licence refund. £36.37! :j I've sent it to my OH's account for now so no one can try and take it from me in the next few days. It'll probably pay for a few months worth of post forwarding when I move but I don't want it being eaten up by other things in the meantime. I'm planning on opening a Co-op Cashminder account soon and only having a few, select DDs for bills come out of it but I want to get the move over and done with first so the card doesn't go missing in the process.

I'm absolutely scared sh*tless about the move. I've just got far too much stuff, some of it's been in boxes for the last two years at least! That should make it easier, I know, not having to box the stuff up as it's already done but I just don't know where I'm going to put it all. Everything's just such a mess and I don't even know where to start. :(

  • My sleeping patterns are a little out of sync atm (usually happens just before a move) so I've just finished cleaning the bathroom bar mopping the floor which I'm planning to do when it's daylight. I'm off to wash some pots in a bit and then I might try to get some sleep.

  • Hi,

Thanks for all the well wishes about the move. The packing is slowly but surely coming along. I imagine I'll have a huge, last minute rush as there always is one but I see myself being ready to move on time.

The job hunting has had to take a bit of a back seat atm. However, I'm planning on ringing a former boss tomorrow (have been trying for the last two days, he keeps not being in yet ) to see about getting that job back. I used to deliver pizzas for Dominos and finished this time last year to concentrate on uni. On the last night, my boss said that if I ever wanted to go back again, I could, so I'm going to see if the offer's still open. It's not the best job in the world but it's cash coming in until I can sort my debts out and it'll get me out of the house more often. Plus, cost price pizza! :j :D
