Only if it's a live broadcast, you don't need it for iPlayer, ect, and that's what everything I watch tends to be. I watch a lot of old shows through Lovefilm as well. I've been slowly working my way through Jeeves & Wooster and Kingdom atm. Yes, I'm a massive Stephen Fry fan.
Though tbh, I seem to get less and less time for doing that sort of stuff these days. I've dropped my Lovefilm subscription down two packages in the last few months and I might well still go lower. I don't know where the time goes, I really don't.
I had baked beans again earlier.
Not very varied but I'm trying to use up my stock cupboard atm, for cheapness and because I'm moving to a new flat at the end of the month. So I might well be having baked beans on toast a lot in the near future. Tonight's dinner was some leftover pasta with pesto and sweetcorn my OH made earlier while I was out. I decided to try adding pepper and those little soya bacon flavoured bits you get for salads and it worked out really well. It's amazing how a little flavouring can really jazz up a meal. I need to try stuff like that more often.
I've just used Turbo Lister to upload 3 items to Ebay to finish in a week's time. I found a pair of kitchen scales in the back of my cupboard earlier this week so I can finally calculate postage properly. So anything that I'd otherwise charity shop in my sorting out next week will be listed ready to upload next Sun. Hopefully, I can clear a load of junk before the move and make money from it too.
Anyway, I'd better be off to bed soon. I start back at my cleaning job tomorrow evening (yuck) after a week off for half term. That's the one good thing about cleaning in a school, plenty of holidays. We get deep cleans to do in the hols too for extra pay but I wasn't picked this time.
Shame, the extra money would've been lovely but the way I've been in my mind lately, I think the time off benefited me more. I now feel refreshed and a lot more ready to start back than if I'd spent half of the half term there. So I'm off now and I'll 'talk' to you all again in the morning. Night all.

PS Someone's just bid on the shoes I listed! :j Only 1p but they've only been listed half an hour. I think the universe likes me today.

Hello,
Well, so much for the universe liking me. I woke up to a phone call this morning saying I've been sacked!
Apparently, my boss didn't think I'd done the work properly on the last day before half term. Which just goes to show that they can't have speed and quality as that was the only day I'd finished on time for weeks. If they want a job doing properly, they need to be prepared to give people enough working hours to do it properly.
Anyway, enough complaining. I'm trying to see this as a good thing, cleaning clearly wasn't suiting me as tbh, this isn't the first time this has happened. But it's hard to see the bright side when my catalogues are now all that's paying the bills. So I'd better start looking for something else. There's a dry cleaners about 4 doors down from me that are looking for Ironers, I'll try them later today. Plus Morrisons seems to be hiring for a lot of positions atm, which is slightly worrying considering it's not a new store. It makes you wonder what their turnover rate is like. I'll try Aldi as well. The nearest store's half an hour's drive away but the pay is excellent for retail work. I think it's time to move away from cleaning and into something new. Onwards and upwards!

Don't worry, I'm ok. I'll be back in the morning, I just needed to take today to myself after what happened earlier. I'll write again soon.

What a day! Roughly £76 of sales submitted to my boss already and another £56 or so to go in tomorrow for re-orders! :j :j :j I don't feel I put in more effort than normal this week so to turn in sales like that when barely trying is a good result, imo. For some reason, I'm mildly disappointed though. I don't know why, for the amount of work I did, those results are great but part of me still wants more. Maybe I'm just having a 'meh' day today.
My OH's just got back from the shop with macaroni cheese so I'm off for some food. I don't know if I'll write again today, we'll see how it goes.

Hi everyone :j
I must say, as good as it was to know I had a set amount of money coming in every month, I've loving the feeling of getting up and being able to decide myself what I do when in a day instead of knowing that I have to be at work for a certain time. Obviously, that's not the case every day as I still have things that need doing at set times sometimes. I've got a meeting at the Job Centre tomorrow morning (dreading it, I'm really not a morning person at the best of times, even though I really want to be one) and on Fri, I have a therapy appointment. But I know that once those things are out of the way, the day is mine.
So, the plans for today are to find all the paperwork I need for tomorrow's meeting, drop off some catalogues to people whose orders I'm delivering on Fri in case they want anything else in the meantime (with the 10% off again
), possibly do a small load of normal catalogue drops at the same time and wash the pots as the pile is starting to build up again. I'm hoping to also find some more stuff to Ebay and get some clothes washing done as today looks like the last dry day I'll get for the next few so I can get stuff out on the line to dry. With a bit of luck, when I'm sorting out boxes to find Ebay stuff, I might finally find the details of my Lloyds CC for a few years back as I think I might have some PPI I can claim back on that. Wish me luck!

Well, some of the above jobs are done, just not all. Thankfully, the paperwork for tomorrow is one of the jobs I finished. Unfortunately, I'm too embarrassed to admit how little I've done today so I'm just going to leave it at that and go to bed.
Don't worry, I'm sure I'll feel better in the morning. Night all.
