Am unsure why books would be unfit for purpose, but particularly why OP would want to get Dad to open an account from a property he is due to move out of.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Needed some other stuff from amazon for the house move & Upcoming statistics exam.
Anyway, final word: Amazon have banned me. No point ranting any further. Their not the only retail outlet in the world, so no big fuss.0 -

It could be argued that Amazon's policy leads people to abuse their good nature.
Rather like the Argos returns policy where people buy something and accidentally break it and then buy another and then return the broken one for a refund while keeping the good one.
No I have not done this. But I know people who have.Don't grow up. Its a trap!

No it's not the policy that's wrong....It's people taking the pi55 that is.0 -
all the stuff ive bought off amazon and only one faulty item
all items always tracked always came in time stipulated etc etc
gee i must be so lucky:D
banned from buying
you couldnt make it up
and people tell me im mad for turning customers away at work if i dont like their attitude0 -
Arrived 'too late' for what? How were they the 'wrong product'? Do you mean they were inaccurately labelled or did you just buy something you didn't actually want?
TBH, if I were returning 10% of the stuff I ordered online I'd start to question my own buying technique."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

There is something more to do this. I return a lot of items to Amazon, probably about 10% of what I order, and have never had a problem with this. I think the issue is more to do with the OP's handling of their accounts(!) than the actual number/ rate of returns.
(The reason I return a lot is because I'm bipolar, I buy when I'm manic and return when I realise I have bought things I have absolutely no use for!)

Certainly. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=!!!!!!The OP has messed Amazon about and has been banned for doing so...end of story.
Granted, but if that is the end of the story, why does it warrant TEN posts from you in the last twelve hours?
Not least, why do you feel the need to challenge what the OP is saying about wanting / needing purchases by a certain date? And if OP is able to provide a valid reason for each and every one of his returns - which are presumably legitimate under DSRs and Amazon's own T&Cs - will the reasons ultimately change the fact that OP has been banned from Amazon.0
