Good on Amazon, people buying and returning things regularly means the free postage is abused and will cost other shoppers ultimately.

Used Amazon for years and only ever had one faulty item. 10% of items being faulty, wrongly despatched etc would ring alarm bells.

If you had the prime service then you would have next day delivery, if you leave things until the last min like exam books then you are taking the mick by returning them.

You needed £220 headphones on a specific day? When did you order? No other phones would do? Were you/did/are you taking the pi55?

Read the post before commenting, or !!!!!!.

OP clearly stated that s/he was going away for a week, so is it beyond your comprehension that s/he would want them before going away?

OP has also made it clear that the phones were received, but were not the colour that had been ordered. OP is well within their rights to reject if this is the case.

Nooo not all of the 20 were faulty!

So this statement 'All things sent back had legitimate faults' is in fact not true, or can you not make your mind up.

I meant all things that were sent back AS faulty (IE: Picked up via their returns courier FOR FREE). Some things arrived late or were not fit for purpose (rubbish quality etc).
And things that were not faulty, but are unwanted, have to be sent back at the buyers expense. (I sent back stuff that wasnt faulty via Recorded delivery or Interlink Express for anyone whos interested).

@Mk14:37 - Thanks for your support dude. The headphones were a gift btw, for the person we were visiting. They had wanted these, so we bought them, thus "No other phones would do."

OP - You do realise that Amazon have blacklisted your address from their accounts, that would include everyone living in the address being barred from opening an account.

10% returns is a rather high turnout, putting you in the position of being a somewhat risky customer. Amazon can and do drop customers they feel are too risky, they can easily afford to do so, yet can ill afford NOT to do so.

They were not left until last minitue.
Ordered three days before (I have two copies of books, one that highlight and destroy making notes on, and buy another set that are blank for revision just before the exam - its my unique system of revising).

Agreed, new tenants are going to have to prove they have just moved in as brand new tenants, unless of course any new tenants are already existing Amazon customers.

Don't think you need to wait for that, the more conflicting and contradictory posts you make trying to absolve yourself of any blame the more people can understand why Amazon have banned you.

Whether you like it or not they have decided they do not want your custom anymore.
