Maybe they thought you used the books for your exams and then returned them. Not unheard of even in brick and mortar shops.

CS thought I was doing this. Provided them with a scanned timetable of my exams (27 of them) then they decided that the courier has messed up and refunded me.

Yep dad agreed to set it up, oh and @Looksguywalker: I think stuff that I dont need will be ebay'ed or given away if its low value. If its significantly not as described (such as getting a PC which is supposed to have a 1.5tb hdd and it only comes with 500gb, then its an amazon return, under the DSR as its not as described. Obliv when creating the RMA, id tell the CS to add the relevant paragraph to the return notes, just to put the point accross.

If he gets banned too (doubt it, as we're probably not even gonna use amazon for a tenth of orders anymore - 30 in a month roughly recently), theres always other shops apart from Amazon. Just got to pay a fair odd amount for next day delivery if need be or use Londons excellent(!) transport system and go get it from the shops.

... but don't go looking to buy anything from Amazon for the rest of your life.

    Haha, rest of my life?
Seven or eight years time, id have a new address, new card etc. I dont think they'd search each list of accounts with my name, as quite a few people have my name...

Punishment accepted btw, no doubt about that, but just gonna use someone elses account. And as I said in my prev post, use returns for the least amount of things :)

    Good on amazon.

If you did this in the high street you would get the same treatment.

Horray. Hope EBAY start doing it.

dsr are there for a reason, not abuse.

    POPCORN, anyone?

Business can pick and choose who they want to do business with same as customers can. In Amazons case they obviously dont want you as a customer because of your high returns. Plenty of other businesses might want your business, I suggest you go else where

(Im not trolling btw, sorry if I came accross like I was :rotfl:)

And like ive mentioned before, I dont exactly blame Amazon for it, would of been nice if i had some sort of 'stop doing it or your kicked' email tbh. Then I wouldnt of returned books that arrived the day my exam was.

So you ordered them on your Amazon Prime account...which I think you said was wonderful and....what? What were the high value items you ordered and returned? There is more to this than you are saying I suspect. How may returns went missing?

They wouldn't do that as then they would be going against the law, they couldn't warn you against returning too many things under DSR.

They can however just stop you from buying from them, which they now have done.
