@Cally6008: Yep Amazon. Tried logging into my account(s), all of them dont work whatsoever. I replied to this bloke too, waiting for an answer.
@Soolin: Yep I understand where their coming from, but theres people who end just dont like something three months down the line, and just say 'oh look its faulty', send back, and refund. And its a majority more than 10% of orders! (Considering about 5% of the orders returned were books that cost less than a fiver that arrived after my exam cos HDNL or Citysprint lost them!)
@Azari: The red bit was my own fault. I had to edit the post when it was posted on MSR whilst on the bus on my phone. its a legit message lol.
@fluffnutter: one of them was my MAIN MAIN account, the other had items that I had purchased as gifts for someone in the house (as everyone used my account, didnt want to spoil the suprise). Third had no debit card attached, just an empty account created by mistake.
Yep the email is real. Googled the message. Others also have been sent the same thing word for word. Amazon and their copy and paste replies eh.
Im just gonna ask dad to create an account, as they banned me. Not him. Only problem is that we got the same name (Im Junior, hes senior :L) - Wonder what Amazon would say to that.0 -
if it's the same household, i imagine they'll close all accounts in the househelpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
DSR's are there for a reason. If Amazon are going to limit them arbitrarily, maybe it's time to move elsewhere.0

Amazon returns are shot to !!!!.
Amazon made a loss during the Christmas quarter and they aren't happy about it.
I've had lots of stuff from Amazon, also have more than one account as occasionally they offer PRIME trials and a new email account is needed, each time I've tested prime they have failed deliveries so I cancelled both times.
Fact is the DSR are there for a very good reason, it's the price of doing mail order business, but as has been said they can cancel any account they like.
I have returned a lot of stuff too, either due to faults, late delivery or the item just generally being shoddy.
Amazon returns often make very expenisve mistakes too. On more than one occasion they have not only refunded a returned item but also replaced it, meaning I've had the PITA of being available for Yodel to collect.
It all adds up and it seems Amazon are trying reduce their costs by binning people who buy a lot of stuff --- sounds like a genius plan.0 -
I think 20 items is a lot of returns. In 6 years or so I've returned 2 things and I've ordered about the same number as you have.
I think their returns process is great. It is free. You get your money straight back if you use their courier. Fab service.
Just get your Dad to set up an account.Don't grow up. Its a trap!
Peace, love and labradors!0 -
Maybe they thought you used the books for your exams and then returned them. Not unheard of even in brick and mortar shops.Don't grow up. Its a trap!

Why? So he can be banned too?0 -
minimum 10% of items returned - lets put it this way, if you tried to return 20 things inside 2 years to one retail store you'd have been chucked out after the 10th return! Stop moaning about it, find yourself a new e-tailer and accept the punishment, but don't go looking to buy anything from Amazon for the rest of your life.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0
