Hi I'm hoping someone can help I defaulted on my Vodafone account I wasn't aware of this until I was turned down for a mortgage on obtaining my credit report I was made aware I defaulted back in November 2014 and the default was paid and satisfied in December 2014 I was told by an advisor that S a goodwill gesture for prompt payment they would remove the default I have come to get a mortgage now and when I obtained my credit report I see that the default is still there all be it satisfied so I phoned Vodafone two weeks ago and was told once again that they would remove the default and even told me what I needed to do to get it removed this was the wrong info as after several phone calls to customer services and a visit to a store no one seems to be able to help and now on speaking to customer services again I am now told there is no record of the default removal being promised on any occasion or that the conversation ever took place. Please can someone help as my mortgage advisor is willing to wait till its sorted but nothing can move forward till it is.

I seem to be having a similar problem to the guys above, I wondered whether you could help Lee?
I closed my Vodafone account last summer, and thought I had cleared my debt with Vodafone in September last year. Evidently I hadn't and have now found that I have incurred defaulted payments on my credit score.
As I had thought I had cleared the last payments, we had since moved house etc, so if there was any communication, I did not receive them. This was not an intentional error on my part, and am disappointed / frustrated that it has impacted my score.
I was hoping that once the debt was paid, that Vodafone could clear the history that is impacting negatively upon my score.
If this is possible, could you let me know?
