Taken to court by grandparent - advice please

I do not know if it has been said already but if you do not go, the court can make their decision without you.
This happened to someone I know and they sent a letter saying why they could not attend (medical reasons) but it was not adjourned again.
I know you do not want to OP but you are going to have to go, if the judge thinks you are being obstructive they will just grant your mother access - you really do need to go and argue your case in front of the judge. She will find out about the pregnancy and baby sooner or later so get both children done at the same time.
Yes she can keep on appealing every few years but if you have had NO contact with her at all the judge will not grant it, it'll be her money she is wasting - and more than likely to prove a point as well, they have no interest in the child, it is just about 'their rights'.
Good luck.0
