Hi piratess,
We have an older thread with lots of ideas for using up bananas that should help so I've merged your thread with it to keep all the suggestions together.

Morning all,
For some reason my boys have not eaten their usual amount of bananas this week and I checked them this morning and they are extremely soft.
Before OS I would have just binned them, but I don't want to do that now.
I have already used 4 bananas in a banana loaf and banana sponge (only have one loaf tin! lol)
BUT I still have 6 bananas left. They are extremely soft - too soft for slicing even. Really I can only mash them.
So does anyone have any other recipes I can use them in? Preferably freezer friendly please.
Do you think I could bake some sort of banana cookie/biscuit?
Any ideas more than welcome or they will be consigned to the bin by this evening.
Many thanks.

Hi Clutterfree,
There are loads of recipes that should give you ideas on this older thread so I've merged your thread with it to keep all the replies together.

Thanks Pink!
Never knew you could freeze bananas, so as I am pushed for time and already have a banana loaf and cake cooling, I will pop them in the freezer for another day.
I have noted a couple of recipes for when I have more time.
Thanks.

Hi again all,
Have only just found this board and i'm on a roll already (is this a good thing?)
I went a litle mad last week in tescos, the organic bananas were reduced to 20p a pack. The kids have eaten three packs, but i am now left with two packs that are going brown( the two older kids refuse to eat these, my youngest doesn't know any better)
Do any of you helpful people have any ideas on what to do with the last two bunches?
