Banana, honey, linseed & milk as a breakfast smoothie.
Sliced Banana, bran (almost like a powder), linseed's and natural yogurt as a breakfast.
Banana pancakes
Barbecued Bananas
Green Banana Chips (slice and deep fry - I know very unhealthy, try almost dry frying for a healthier alternative).
Chicken & Banana Korma
In a Rice Pudding or added to any dessert
Added to a mint Raita
Fruit Salad served with natural yogurt
Banana Fritters
In a trifle, added to porridge
Slice a banana, add 50 ml milk, 125g natural yogurt, 30g oats, mix and leave in the fridge overnight for a tasty breakfast (you can add fresh berries before serving).
Then of course there are all the bread, cake, biscuit, desserts recipes etc.
Don't forget as good as Bananas are for you and a ripe banana will aid 'movements' an unripe banana can do the opposite and stop you 'going'.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
my kids loved banana ice lollies - you just peel banana, cut in half and insert lolly stick, wrap in clingfilm and freeze! a very healthy (but nice) treat!0

I really love bananas too, and could very happily make five of them my five-a-day (although I don't, obviously, before anyone lectures me).

I brought a load of cheap brown bananas today. I need to do something with them quick (preferably something that can be frozen).
The only thing I can think of is Banana cakes, any other suggestions
Thanks0 -
Banana 'icecream' - simply freeze (may be easier to slice prior to freezing) and blend the frozen banana. Healthy, yummy snack - you can flavour quite easily too, e.g. add peanut butter, honey, Nutella and so on.

I peel them, wrap in tin foil and then freeze them, frozen bananas are great in smoothies, chopped up and added to porridge or thawed and used in baking.Worrying won't stop bad stuff from happening, it just stops you from enjoying the good.0

I had a few over ripe bananas to use up last week and made banana bread for the first time. It was absolutely delicious :-)
