I need my own magic wand at the mo.
Any post?
Maybe there is a market Beanie, do you think we could create one? No not yet but our post has been awful these past few days, will let you know asap
So I removed some of what I posted yesterday mainly because its my mood. Anyways one of those things was work... I have been stressing about going back, I am no longer enjoying working there and its not the job its the way it's run. Last night I had no sleep worrying etc. So today I get ready for work and my car doesn't startPhone work to let them know/get a code for the door at my first call and they have given all my work away  I now have no work until next week - I was supposed to be working today and tomorrow
I need a new job!
So its offical I have drowned as there will be no way they will pay me these two days and my sick note ended yesterday
*btw car is fine, RAC wanted to sell me a bettery but I said I would get local garage to fit one. Took it out on a jolly and all is well :T I think when I turned it over on Tuesday (I was driven to college on Tues so the car hasn't been used since last Thurs) I may have flooded the system and of course its quite difficult to start a car from another car's battery if it's been flooded.0 -

So thanks to Beanie I managed to stick to this :j Took £10 cash and spent £1.20 for 2* drinks and two cakes, £2 return bus fare, £1.49 solar headbopper (shoe boxes), £3 2* brush set with hair bands and 3* clips (shoe boxes), £2 lunch = £9.69
So as I didn't come back yesterday with a budget...
I have all my bills money (due out on the 15th), £25 payment to the CC and rent for next Friday. So next friday all I need worry about is petrol :T That leaves £40 in my account as a buffer for the coming week.
Whats annoying though is M&S have 20% off nightwear this weekend which would have reduced the last thing I wanted to get Mum significantly... However my voucher hasn't come throuigh yet  I am hoping it may show up before tomorrow. If not she will just have to have one instead of two :rotfl:
Hope everyone is having a great weekend :beer:0 -

Planning to get to you next year Beanie. I have deiced to get debt free first then I will do London & Scotland and see where else after that
Budgets are ok, as before all my bills were covered it was only petrol i needed. Well thank heavens the bills were covered as I only recieved £80. I think that must be wrong though because I worked at least £20 after tax on theFriday. No wage slip yet to check
So after putting asside money for petrol I had £40 remaining... So as I haven't really spent anything on myself for months I decided to go charity shop searching. I really need a coat as the zip on mine (taken from lil brother about 5 years ago) has broken and I don't think I can fix it, so thought I could find one. I didn't but found a lot of other good bits - £3.80 jumper for me (really nice quaility and quite long too), £3.80 cardi for Mum for xmas, £1.00 pan for the kitchen, £1.50 3 packs of stickers for shoe boxes, 60p little frames for shoe boxes, 50p cbeebies car set for shoes boxes, £1 six bouncy balls for shoe boxes, 50p snoopy key chain (for me), £2.49 book (more expensive on my kindle) and £1 shampoo = £16.19
That leaves £24 for me for the next week, this should be fine because I need and want nothing. I should really put that back into the bank and pay it off my CC but we have an expansive couple of things coming up. On the 22nd I need to chip in for our 'christmas lunch', long story short we are doing christmas with my siblings on the 22nd so we are having a Domnio's for our evening meal. Then on the 31st I am off to a local pier (re-opened last year?) to the arcadesYes its frivolous and I could put my money to better use but as I didn't get myself a birthday gift last year and won't this year I think <£25 spent in the arcade is fine :T
I am still determind to get debt free before the end of feb, it's doable at a push but I am sure I can get there. Just need to cover Mum's birthday gift but I can do that.
Have a good weekend :T0 -
Hi PAP, I like the 'new' pier. They sometimes have the rides at half price but I guess that might not be the case for NYE. If you do the mirrors - put your hands in front of you. My youngest bumped his head in there!0

Thanks Dangers :j Ahh not to keen on the rides, all I really want to do is the arcades (no holiday this year means no arcades) and maybe the 4D cinema. The mirrors and lazer maze look good but unsure on those. Do you know of anywhere down there that is nice to eat at? I haven't been there in years and years. The last time was with college I think :rotfl:
Ouch! At your youngest, not good!0 -
Not sure about eats - they have now got a Prezzo and we had a really delicious Sunday lunch at The Thatched Cottage earlier this year but not sure whether you'd want this for NYE. To be honest, we don't often go down there to eat.
A friend of mine was having her Xmas do on the pier last night - think there's a posh restaurant on there now.0
