  • Beanie the annoying thing is that I usually stick to £10 each sibling. However one of my sibling's have already purchased stuff for me and its over £20. Even worse they gave me a list of what they want yet didn't ask for a list from me  The killer is I have asked for three things and they are all <£5 so it would have been a cheap christmas for them. Next year I am asking for shoe box stuff, I can't be dealing with getting a load of 'stuff' that I will not ever use.

I did go and get one more of Mum's gift today but only because I had a £5 off voucher. So I got her book plus one from my christmas list and it only cost Mum £2.50 for my christmas present :T I now need to order 3 gifts online for £22.57 and buy something instore for £5 and I am done!

So after this weeks rent, petrol (which I won't need to top up much next week), gift above, £5 for shoe boxes :o and £7 coffee (pre arranged) I have £170 left. That covers next week rent and three weeks of bills plus £10 :D

So next week all I need to cover is top up of petrol and on the 7th rent and petrol

Mum now owes me £60 which she will be paying me on Friday, that will all go to the CC which will cover my prescription cost and more than the min payment.

So all looking fine. I want to pay off £200 debt in December, thats my aim. If I can do that I will be very happy, my aim is to be debt free **before** Feb 28th... Fingers crossed :T

None of my beeswax but just because someone has spent 20 quid doesn't mean that you have to in return.
In my book all the more reason not to.
I would ignore the list as well.
    Just my thoughts.

  • Well so far Beanie one has £17 plus £15.07 for thier OH and the other £4 :D I will be adding £9 to the latter and then they are done. I did get the Barclays bespoke offer (huge thanks to a reader/supportor ;)) so will be able to get one at half price :j

The black friday deals are being rolled out today. There are some really good ones but first and foremost is debt repayments :T
  • So using the offer above and adding 58p, so total of £5.58 I managed to get the last two gifts for my siblings. Now it's just Mum to go, I have just redeemed a £5 m&s voucher on the survey sites which means hopefully I can get it for £4.50 delivered :T Then I am done!

So I have used that money from the spare £10 I had in my account. I do have to top up my phone on/before Friday so thats an added £10 bill money I need. Time will tell if I mange to scrape through into December or drown :rotfl:
  • Still sick _pale_ Won't be back to work till mid next week. Money wise I am doing 'ok' after my bills due out at the beggining of the month phone top up this week/rent I have £60. My car is full so no problems there. Its the following two week I will have issues. From now untill the 20th where I will have my next full pay I need to cover £80 rent, £80 fuel and £69.18 bills = £229.18 :o I can skip my rent next week which is something but unsure about the reaminder as I only got £34.xx sick pay.
Time will tell if I mange to scrape through into December or drown :rotfl:

I think I maybe drowning... However at least all my christmas presents are done (except the one for Mum which I may now skip) and things are 'ok'. The only thing is I will need to set asside £10-£15 next weekend to meet my only friend in town. If the worse comes to the worse I will walk in and try and spend nothing.
So all looking fine. I want to pay off £200 debt in December, thats my aim. If I can do that I will be very happy, my aim is to be debt free **before** Feb 28th... Fingers crossed :T

Certainly not going to pay off £200 this month but still aiming for Feb. Made my min payment today and some extra money from Mum (I ordered a black friday deal on her behalf) so thats something... Nowhere near the £200 mark though.

My aim now is to just make it through to Jan :T
