How much are you expected/do you do for your partner?

As the title really, what does your partner expect to be done for him? IE meals cooked/washing/ironing/cleaning/bath run etc. Or is it do 50/50 what you want when you want?

I do most of the cooking and cleaning because he is hopeless at it, he does laundry and errands, we swap chores if we want a change or a break. Don't ever let a 'partner' expect you to do things.0

Well, Me and my girlfriend both cook, and clean and everything else, when the other one is feeling down, we'll look after eachother.
But we both enjoy cooking, so...I dunno.
From what I can tell, our arrangement is pretty rare.
We never expect anything from eachother.0 -
I try to do anything i can for him but sometimes i just cant face the housework / ironing pile and be lazy and then he might do some!
We both work full time but i do about 45 hours plus 5 hours travelling and 2 hours voluntary (52 total) a week and he does at least 58 hours work plus 15 hours travelling (73 hours) a week and his job is manual.
He works so hard that i think its fair that i pamper him when he is home!

None of those things, the only thing he expects me to do is dry up if he's washing up or vice versa. We both cook and he does all the washing/cleaning as he works shorter hours than I do. We rarely iron anything but if he wants something ironed he'll either fudge it up until I offer or ask me if I'll do it at which point I'll badger him to make me a cup of tea while I'm doing it

Thank you for your replys I forgot to say in my op that I dont work (I have a 1 and 3 year old and medical issues) He does works away 4 days a week.
I just wondered what other peoples partners "expected" I dont mind doing everything, just having thoughts as you do lol0 -
Neither of us expect the other to do anything, if one of us sees that something needs doing then we do it. This morning he put one washing load in, when I went in the kitchen it had finished so I put it on spin and then hung it out. It's give and take, he can't cook very well but he's learning and he's not doing too bad now

I do all the meal planning, food shopping, cooking and washing up. We split the laundry fairly equally, but my wife probably does a bit more than me. My wife does all the ironing and most of the cleaning. I do all the gardening and any DIY. My "chores" take longer than my wife's, but she probably works 60 hours a week compared with my 40ish...0

I cook for him sometimes, he cooks for me sometimes. I do the bulk of it but he checks that I'm OK with that.
We both run a load of washing through if it happens to be there (what's this iron thing you speak of?).
He can run his own blinkin' bath, I'm his OH not his servant, it's no effort to run a bath. Sometimes if he's had a rotten day he gets a massage or whatever, but he does return the favour if I need it.
We're pretty equal - we're both quite good at doing housework if it needs doing.

This changes it a bit - I would expect to do more household things if I was a SAHM (something that will never happen) but I would expect a bit of a hand at weekends.

Agreed, I'd still not run him a bath though!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
