Anyone getting pestered by this bunch should try doing what I did.
I found their Facebook page & very publicly wrote on it that, if they continued to phone me, I would start sending them invoices for my wasted time. I suggested a fee of £50 for each call I received & stated that, having given them fair warning, I would take legal action to recover these fees if they refused to pay.
Since that day, I have not received a single call from Consumer Lifestyles.

dreams are free. Spammy calls make money. You do the math!0

The person in charge of all this is a Mr Adrian John Williams. You only have to look at the other 70'odd other scam businesses he is a director of to see just how he collates data. Various so called marketing businesses and the rest. I have seen this sort of set up before and they do pass data around. They will even try ringing you pretending to look for someone else. Sorry but this is a typical scam business with the law needing to come down heavy on this director.
PS if you do a search you will even find a phone number for him. Do some cold calling yourself!0 -
Do some cold calling yourself!
Excellent advice bbloke.
I call back spam numbers 10 times for every time they call me using my unlimited minutes on my mobile contract. Be careful that 0870/0844/0844 numbers are included in your calling plan and don't call back premium rate or overseas numbers.
Don't have time to call them back? Of course you do! You're sitting in the car waiting for Junior to finish football - then call them up. Waiting in a long supermarket queue? Dial them up! You don't have to talk to them.
Every time you call back you are doing a social or community service in tying up their operators time so they cannot call anyone else.
Then on the 10th call tell them that you are calling them 10 times for every one time they are calling you. The operator will probably have got a few of your crank calls and will get the message and delete your details.:money:The man without a signature.0 -

I just had a call form Consumer Lifestyles - so I quizzed the caller.
He told me the company were DLG from Watford that were calling me and gave me their web address - as above dot co dot uk
He also admitted he was ringing from a callcentre in India.
When I said I was TPS registered he hung up.
Here's the bit that made me feel better - I rang them using my mobile - Caller Id hidden of course. Getting through to a switchboard I asked for Dave Craft, then Jason Taverner (Details on their website) saying my name was "Insert Name Here" from "Made Up Company"
When Jason answered I was able to abuse him to my heart's content until he put the phone down... childish, puerile yet strangely satisfying0 -
So on call number 3 of the day, i thought i might try and google this again! Thank you for the number posted but i called and they said my name and number were not on their database... but they say they are from consumer lifestyles so i am back to square one! Im sure call number 4 will be coming soon, so might try another tactic..0
