£15 credit - that's how much the sims cost these days.

I started with Ovivomobile in mid January. Have had emails from them about re-starting the ads, but I have never seen ad so far!
I have used it in laptops and PCs running XP, Win 7 os and Firefox and IE browsers.
Not that I am complaining :D

I'm such an occasional data user (and been abroad for 3 weeks) that I hadn't yet swapped to the new APN

After a modest (60 kB) data session on the 1st July, I received an email a couple of days ago reminding me to swap to the new access point ovivomobile.com

They say any use of the previous APN after 15th July will be charged for, on a per megabyte basis.

Those like me who hadn't swapped over, be warned.

I have had my sim for 3 months and not had a problem - it works - re-sets back every month, just don't use premium numbers etc and your £15 credit stays, read the T&Cs and cost for calls outside your allowance.

For £15 - I think it is worth it.

if you view the web you have to see an advert before it takes you to the site you wanted, but as most people have said they have not really introduced it fully yet. Other than that no catch. The freedom pack is great for light users, dont forget as well free calls to ovivo to ovivo only kicks in on the freedom package when you have used up your 150 mins, before that they come off your allowance.

that's good so the £15 you pay for the sim is your call credit so I won't need to top up every month. This will be great for me and my daughter to use.

You are supposed to watch ads when using data. Ovivo get paid by the advertisers. When the free allowances run out, people may be tempted buy more.
More info in the interviews with Ovivo founder Dariush Zand at

Strangely enough, I have'nt seen ads whilst using data!
