Seeing as they've just upped the free data allowance they can't be doing that badly

I have a SIM for my iPad, previously paying £5 a month to three, maybe I use a hundred meg a month - mostly wifi anyway. Ideal and this works for me.

Spotted this answer on their facebook page about porting out if they fail:

Ovivo Mobile: Of course we have no intentions of stopping trading, but should the worst happen to us, your number would not be lost and you could port it out.

Both a bit out of date things have changed since then.
Yes they have! And evidently, they are now much better for the consumer.
£10 initial payment is returned in the form of £10 call credit.
100 minutes voice, 100 Texts and 400 MB Mobile Internet free each month. No minimum topups required.
For more than the free allowance, Ovivo Packs are available for £5 or £10. Works out at 3.33p or 2.5p per min. Not the cheapest but not bad.
Bonuses for people who buy Ovivo Packs regularly.
    Rewards for introductions.

I joined only couple of weeks ago and very pleased :)

    Was it not 200+200+500 originally?

You could be right. I am new to Ovivo so don't know what the original offer was.
May be 'marvin' know the full history.
But some posts I saw indicate that Ovivo made changes to their offer.

Here are two posts from mobilenetworkcomparison.org.uk

    31 August 2012
Well, they lasted just 4 months before the offer was withdrawn. No surprise to anybody really. Now the SIM is doubled to £10 and the allowances 50mins/50texts/100mb.

    5 November 2012
I’m also in the process of porting over to them, as the current 100/100/200 is plenty good for me. Perhaps this is what it should have been in the first place.

Anyways, current offer of 100/100/400 plus incentives is good.
Hopefully, Ovivo has found the right balance to keep the service going.

Yes it has changed twice since launch. I can't remember the text or data allowances but the sim initially cost £5 and you got 200 minutes talktime. This was then reduced to just 50 minutes talktime with the price of the sim remaining a fiver. It was at this time that most people thought their concerns about the company going under was going to come true. Then a month or two later everyone was surprised to see the talktime double to the present 100 minutes with accompanying changes to internet and text allowances. Apparently ovivo changed their business model and introduced a number of different priced sim plans. I bought my sim when it was still £5 for 200 mins and am getting 100 mins now. I have not had any issues with it all.
