Problems with using vouchers bought through MightyDeals.co.uk

I have recently purchased a voucher from MD and after receiving the product, I have found it to be completely useless and it does not perform as described. The product was a robotic vacuum cleaner, thats a real joke, I feel like the robot thats running after it all the time moving it along as it gets stuck against the skirting board or by a table leg. After 10 minutes of it 'vacuuming' it picks up nothing, my carpets are not that spotless, I have a dog so I expect to see some dirt. Has anyone else had any problems with this product and did you manage to get in contact with Mighty Deals.0

Absolutely dreadful at customer service. Bought a tablet in October, it arrived 21 working days later (deal did say 20 days which I thought was more than enough time in the 21st century). Tablet worked fine but was sent with wrong charger - apparently manufacturer sent them out like this so many hundreds in same position. I contacted Mighty Deals and suggested they send out a correct charger. Not so, whole unit has to be returned which I did. Sent to address provided, Gofulfilment at Wigan. I was told to expect a 7 day turnaround. Tablet delivered to Wigan on 13 November 2013. On 14 Nov received an email from iQue stating that for the return of the item I needed to pay £4.99 postage and £5 admin fee!!! Emailed Mighty Deals and the iQue email was explained as an error - Really? Since that date I have had one reply to the many emails I have sent asking quite simply, 'when will I receive my tablet' The reply stated that Mighty deals had contacted the Merchant and are waiting for notification of a date. RUBBISH! I contacted Gofulfilment at Wigan and they state that all the returned tablets are collected by the merchant, Mighty Deals! The tablet is repeatedly back on offer by Mighty Deals, but the Wigan agent is not involved in the latest offer. So Mighty Deals is the Merchant in my case. Is this some sort of scam outfit? Oh, don't bother trying to ring the customer service number, never any answer. And 7 days since the last reply to an email.0

HAving a nightmare with MD, emailed them 4 times now and they replied with an apology email, and said " has been deemed solved. Should this not be the case or to reopen, please reply to this email."
I have replied to it 3 times, and getting completely ignored. I wont be using that firm again.Saving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0 -
I have been fighting Mighty Deals since MAY 2013 trying to get a Shell petrol voucher that I paid for then.
Like another poster, I have had a succession of e-mails in response to my complaints saying they are sorry, and would I please send more details. This I do - and nothing happens. So I send another e-mail. They are very sorry - would I send more details!
This has gone on and on. If we were talking £100 I would have taken them to court long ago, but I am going to wear them down if it kills me!
AVOID THESE SCAM ARTISTS! :mad:0 -
I bought a phone on the 18th of November 2013 as a Christmas present for my son. It didn't arrive in 20 working days as it was said. When it finally arrived, I was shocked. Android system stocks, it takes ages to connect to the network. The phone is for using 2 SIM cards at the same time. One of them doesn't work at all. I tried to insert 3 different mobile network SIM and any does not work. I sent an email to customer service how could I return this item, but they even didn't answer.
I have bought a tablet more that year ago from MD as well. I also bought a keyboard as extra, but only tablet arrived with delay about 1 month. The tablet charger doesn't charge, as too short and no contact with the tablet. The company Dee-Sign, who was selling this tablet does not exist now. The MD were not interested to solve this problem and were replying like they didn't know what they were talking about.
Both items arrived without any invoice or documentation.
I wonder how the Mighty Deals still exist. Probably we need to cooperate against MD and take that company to the court once.0 -
I bought a UV nail kit from Millenium Nails for my wife for Christmas. The voucher was for a 36w lamp and to be fair everything came in good time along with the right colour varnishes etc. However wgen my wife came to use it the lamp didnt dry the nails and we realised they had sent a 12w lamp not a 36w lamp.
I have contacted both companies. Millenium have simply referred me to Mighty Deals as they are claiming it is their error. I have had a standard email from MD stating they understand the issue has been resolved.
I have given them 7 days to put it right and I am just going to start small claims court proceedings. I dont have time to be messed about by mickey mouse companies.0 -
