Problems with using vouchers bought through MightyDeals.co.uk

Dear Blue Amigo,
We don't care if you are busy. You should be a little more mindful then when signing up to give out vouchers. You forget that we have actually paid money for the voucher, plus the delivery. Why don't you use common sense and spend 30 minutes identifying outstanding orders and at least just send us all a mail out explaining the situation. I even took the time to come to your store in Oxford and you promised me that I would have my canvases by the end of the week..and that was 2 full weeks ago. Iv been waiting two months now. The point here Blue Amigo is not that you are busy, its that you cant take a few minutes to update customers on the progress. I can assure you that people will be more understanding if you just send them a quick email to let us know you are busy and working on our order, rather than us having to rake through the internet to find some way to get through to you, seen as though your phone is always engaged and you totally ignore emails.
In your case this voucher has been counter-productive. I understand you are overwhelmed by all the orders, but then you should have learned from the first voucher company you advertised on? Why did you then go and offer more vouchers on other websites if you couldn't take the load. People are angered by this and you will get bad reviews for it. Why don't you just send us all an email to let us know our canvas's is on the way. Maybe this will reduce the risk of all the bad reviews to come...?
Just a tip...
So tired of waiting...0 -
Like many others I have had the same problems with Blue Amigo,
however, I used the priority mse adress and had a reply from Kal saying my order would go to print that day and should be with me the following week. Sure enough I received a further email informing me that my order had been dispatched. My prints were received as quoted and we are very impressed with the quality.
It is a pity that Blue Amigo have got themselves into this mess as the product is very good.0 -
Ordered through Gumtree Daily Deals (now no more) with Blue Amigo. This was in May 2012. I Uploaded my images in July and despite many emails never received even a reply never mind canvases.
Now their contact form is overloaded and not even accepting messages.
Is Blue Amigo now classified as commiting Fraud by taking all your money and not delivering ?
Has anyone reported them to Trading Standards etc. ?
The Internet and most companies are really great but scum like Blue Amigo leave a bad taste.0 -
I have now received my print after weeks of emailing. The quality of the cavas is horrendous! So bad there is no way i could possibly use.
I feel totally ripped off. Waste of £40!!!0 -
I purchased a canvas through a KGB deal back at the beginning of July and by the 1st week of August I hadn't either received or heard anything so I rang them (got through to Adrian who is in the print department) only to be told that the photo I had uploaded was corrupt so could I send another. He emailed me as below so I could attach the new photoI am really sorry for the delay in getting your order out to you but we
have been incredibly busy. We now taken delivery of some new very large
printers and will be catching up with our backlog as fast as we can.
We have just gone to print your canvas and found that the image is
corrupt, if you could mail it back to this address I will look to get
this out to you in the next week.
Please do accept my apologies for the delay and for not getting back to
you before about this. Thank you again for your patience.
A month later (6th September) still no canvas so I sent a polite email enquiring as to where it was ....... no answer !
21st September I found this forum discussion and contacted the 2 other email addresses (kalam & priority) sent a new mail (below) and forwarded the previous ones to & from Adrian.Hi
After getting no reply (and finding a problem page on the internet) I thought I'd take advantage & use the other email addresses posted.
I placed my order (KGB deal voucher code: *****) at the beginning of July - I phoned a month later and spoke to Adrian who said that the image I'd sent was corrupt and he kindly sent me a mail (below 7th August) to which I could attach the image. I am presuming the image was ok as I heard nothing back.
I sent another mail (below 6th September) but to date have again heard nothing, and have been trying to ring to no avail as the phone line is constantly engaged.
I understand that you are very busy but this has now been going on for nearly 3 months and is a little frustrating.
Any help/guidance would be appreciated
On 24th September I received a telephone call from Kalam apologising for the delays but their computers had had a glitch and they had lost a load of data and would I please send my image again which I did and near enough immediately received a reply from KalamNo worries at all Jane, I’ll send you an email when I’veg got your image back from production and ready to print.
Thanks
Kal Hi Kalam,
Getting concerned again - It's been over 2 weeks & I have had no reply from you to say that you've got my image back and ready to print
Could you please update me as soon as possible
Thanks
Jane
If it was just a general photo they were doing for me then by now I would have told them what they could do with it but this is a photo for my Daughter of her newborn (well he was when this all started) son - I'm thinking that by the time it eventually arrives he'll be old enough to actually hang it on the wall himself !!
I'm going to mail & ring again this afternoon and see where I get ... if not it will be trading standards time0 -
I also purchased 2 vouchers from Mighty Deals for canvas prints from Blue Amigo and ordered them in July. It took over 10 weeks but i did finally receive my prints. Quality is ok, not good but they were very cheap! Their customer service is disgusting. I contacted them numerous times, always very pleasant with them, only to receive 1 reply from them. I also contacted Mighty deals direct, don't know what they did to help. I have also asked Blue Amigo for an apology, an explanation or even some kind of refund from them but now i have seen this thread i stand more chance of receiving an email from the Queen! Awful company, hope there name gets thoroughly trashed!0

I really wish I'd seen this thread earlier! I ordered a canvas print from Blue Amigo on the 3rd August via KGB and still nothing despite repeated e-mails and phone calls. I did get 1 e-mail from Kalam but that was about 6 weeks ago and nothing since. At what point do I contact local trading standards in Oxford? Surely this company is committing a fraudulant act - what's everyone's thoughts? It's not the money, it's a relatively small amount, it's the principle!0

Same story! I ordered in July. Have not received canvas. Have emailed & left numerous telephone messages - have heard nothing.0

Me too, ordered 26th July and nothing , despite several emails. How can we get a refund? Paid by debit card0
