Made some space. Have a look in the Device Manager to see what you need/what Drivers are needed.0

thanks
its connected to the internet, so do i need the ethernet one?
device manager has a question mark next to:
multimedia audio controller: PCI\VEN_1039&DEV_7012&SUBSYS_200B1631&REV_A0\3&61AAA01&0&17
video controller (vga compatable): PCI\VEN_1039&DEV_6325&SUBSYS_10041631&REV_00\4&3525EC23&0&0008
are the ones above the correct ones for what i need?0 -
downloaded all three files, they were .zip files
got 7 zip from filehippo
sound one does not have a set up file, just a file to remove sigmatel.zip
the display and ethernet files seemed to run set up ok, but i cant change resolution over 800 by 600
and it still seems blocky
went to device manager and the above two things still have question marks next to them.....0 -
Did you follow the instructions that came with each link as to how to install the Drivers?
You un-zip the Sound Driver and then choose the Update Driver option by right-clicking on the line within the Device Manager corresponding to the Audio hardware and choosing 'Update Driver'.
You can then point the Wizard towards the newly un-zipped folder. The Driver will install that way.
As to the video, you can use the same Driver that you used earlier that worked. Perhaps from the Gigabyte website?0 -

I miss XP for its ability to be tweaked, win7 seriously lacks the old ability to tinker with it.
