Hips displasia/arthritis - may be a time for the op....
Comments
-
Katy - the op was 5600 and they did direct claim for us. I only paid £30 admin charge.
I know they sometimes let people pay by instalemens. NO idea how much consultation alone is because we went for one and Zara stayed for the op so all was costed together.0 -
After the bank holiday I will give them a ring and see what they suggest. I suppose I have avoided a second opinion because I couldn't bear to hear someone else say there was nothing they could do for him0

YOu need your vet to refer you to FR, your vet will send all history/xrays etc etc... FR will call you to make an appointment.... Really home for the best for Tyson *HUGS*0
-
My vet hasn't done x-rays as they decided they wouldn't operate anyway no matter what the x-rays showed and so it wouldn't be worth putting him under to x-ray him if it wouldn't make any difference.
I will ask them next time we are in for his injection0 -
Off to bed.... shattered..
Got a camping bed.. next to zara's cage.. sleeping with my little girl tonight0 -
Welcome home Zara! Glad she's doing well huge hugs to you both!0
-
Hope you both had a restful night, but I suspect not ...Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0 -
Just wondered why she has to wear the two collars?0
-
Oh dear... went to be at like 2 am but.. did not get any sleep till 6 as the cats decided to use me as a bouncing castle and jump from the top of the cage onto me and back all the time.. have no door in the living room so could not lock them furies out.... Every tie Zar moved even a little, the cage was making that "metal rattle noise" too....
Took her out with the help of my daughter's bo/f at 6 am, she has done a pee, had a bit of water and food and went back nto the cage
Someone should design bowls that work for a dog witth "lapshade" collar on as I have tried a few of the ones I got and I have to help her to be able to eat/drink....
The 2 ganging bowl ordered from ebay have not arrived yet...
Now off to take gher out by myself....back in 15 min0 -
Well, we have mede it downstairs and back without problems - ufffff what a relief.
Boiling some chicken for Zaea now to mix with her food - they fed her tinned food at the vets so she does not want dry now... and it took me agessssssssssssssssssss to get her to eat dry some time ago
Wel, will mix with some chicken stock and see how we get on.0
