She is going to get metacam once per day and 2 tablets of Ceporex twice per day.
I have some photos but seem to have blocked myself on my photo album, could email to someone if someone is kind enough to post them for me please?
PM me your email if you could upload them to here pls...
Thanks a lot0 -
I would but I am not totally sure how to post them!
I told Tyson she is home and he is pleased, and jealous as he wants the op but isn't allowed0 -
Katy - insurance/money issues?
Pls talk to vets, they can offer instalaments... *HUGS*0 -
OK, got it...
Zara's hips pre-op:
Zara's new hip:0 -
That, but also the vet will not do it due to his skin condition. They are worried that he may get an infection due to his sore skin and that it could get in to the bone due to the op cutting in to the bone.
She said it was too risky
I would find the money somehow if it was just the money. He has so much energy and is so young in his mind it is awful to see him when his body can't keep up.
Just hoping his medication keeps it under control for as long as possible0 -
Zara now in her cage.... with 2 collars on, shaved leg and bald patch on her size...
Mind it. this is the 54" cage....0 -
Oh wow, that looks so much more stable for her0

aww bless her! Tyson actually enjoys having his cone on now as he has to wear it so often. I always give him a treat when I put it on him, so now he actually pushes his head in to it to get a treat!0

Katy - can not remember where you are but....any change for you to get to FR?
You see, when I was diagnosed with kidney cancer - my local hospital said the only option is to remove whole kidney and whole adrenal gland via so called open surgery. That would involve very big cut, very long recovery etc etc.
Went for second opinion - same diagnosis but very diofferent procedure. I had a eobotic assisted laparoscopy and was back at work 2 weeks after surgery - on reduced hours but...
So.... always second (or third or fourth ) opnion....0 -
I am in the midlands but I do drive. If there was anything they could do to help him I would make the journey.
I am still waiting on my insurance for his treatment so far though so no idea what would happen if I put in a claim for an op.
Would they let you pay in installments?
How much would a consultation be do you think?0
