OK - left home 6-ish, got to FP at 9..... so much for AA stated 1 hour 40 min LOL
Noel came out to check the car first.... seriously......
2 nurses brough Zara out and the fun started.... sigh.....
Zara was so happy to see me and my friend (who was her dog walker for 2 years some time ago) that she nearly pulled both nurses over.....
They lifted her into the back of the car, onto the 2 bl;ankets I took with me and tried to make her lie down - Zara would not have any of it....She wanted to kiss me and my friend she wanted to stand, she was wriggling and one would never say she is 4 days after such a major op - only for the shavet leg... and a patch bald on her side wher slow release painkilled patch was but they took it osfff saying she was fine on metacam and one more alone (will check what thet is in a moment, got it in my bag)0 -
Awww that bought a tear to me eye hearing how excited she was to see you!
So glad she is doing well0 -
She finally calmed down and we were able to drive off, got home 2 hours later, daughters boyfriend came down to lift Zara out of the car and fun started again - she was pulling us like a horse towards the flat....
But I wanted her to pee first so I do not have to take her down again tonight so stodd on the gras with her telling her to pee. As a good girl she did and we took her upstairs... By the collar and withe under belly support sling for her back legs.
Had to really hold her as she wanted to run poor thing.....
Walked in, she had some drink, got to cat food in the kitchen and polished that off (LOL) - with me still holding her by the collar and supporting her with the sling under her belly.
They had to take her into the cag and she did not ;ike that very much - she has 2 collars on the lampshade and the comfy collar.
She was barking like mad in the cage wanting to get out, took her about 15 minutes to calm down, wth the help of the cats as they all tried to touch her via the cage wires.. they must have missed her too.... they are all around the cage now - sh is sleeping now and snoring like mad...0
