Thanks all, last day went quite well, got loads done, mainly because HE and colleague weren't there to distract me

Working from home this am and then off on hols tomorrow. OH birthday on Sunday and got lots of fun things planned

Had hair, nails and eye lashes done yesterday, courtesy of groupon and half price offers, really felt pampered :D

Have woken early to water infection, so will have to ring docs for prescription :( Was told it may happen after tests last week but thought the chance had passed, seems not

Anyway, going to try to go back to sleep for a bit. Hope you all have a good day

  • Glad your last day went well and you got some pampering in.

Boo to your water infection though, I hope it clears up fast for you.

Hope you have a lovely holiday, but don't spoil OH too much for his birthday after the disappointment of yours! Xx

    Thanks dear Lil Miss Lucky

Managed to sleep for 2 hours but now got a fuzzy head - I really am a wreck :o

Phoned docs and ordered a prescription which I can pick up this pm :)

Glad you said that about OHs birthday as I felt a bit childish remembering mine. Normally I make him special cards online from both me and DGDs, this year I've bought shop cards. DDIL has got DGD1 to make him a card, which I'm jealous of :o and he will adore. Nearly bought a gift for him from them but stopped myself and also stopped myself from buying one more present :D

    Hello Granny, :hello:

Didn't realise you had another day's work-at-home before you can really relax.. Hope it speeds past without any knotty problems!

Curses to test-induced water infection. :(
Even though you're picking up a prescription, it will help you get rid of it faster if you can get hold of some cranberry juice - A!di sell it at a reasonable price - and drink as much as you can over the next few days (flush out those bugs before they can multiply ;)).

What's the betting OH doesn't even notice that you've made less effort for his birthday than in previous years?
