Nice quiet weekend not doing much at all, (OH worked for a lot of it), finished off with my favourite day of the week
Took DGDs to a coffee shop on the 29th floor today, really cheeky as went for the views really. Took packed lunch and drinks for girls, nothing saidOH bought coffees, shared sandwich, which came with chips and a muffin each. Mistake made at the till resulted in free coffees
. Then we went for a walk on the beach and a trip to the pet shop to see the fish, before coming home to play at Granny's house for a bit. Lovely, lovely day
NSD for me

..Sounds like a perfect Granny-Day - you've made some lovely memories with your girlies; well done!
ps. Congrats on getting below the 50 barrier! :T0 -
Thanks Robin, the best part of the day was when they were 'hiding' from OH, under a blanket in the middle of the living room floor. It was so cute and made us giggle for ages, made even funnier with DGD2s feet sticking out at the end
DGD2 spends a lot of her time parrot repeating what DGD1 has just said but when I told DGD1 to say DGD2 was silly she was silentWhen DGD1 said OH was silly, DGD2 went back to the original game

I'm very tired today and don't really have much to report but today has been a nsd #2
I made sweet potato and cauliflower soup earlier. Initially OH said he didn't want any, turning his nose up because he thought it was too thin. However he changed his mind and commented on how nice it was and how it was thicker than he thought. Lucky really as I made about 2ltrs
as I said not much happening today so I'm off to bed now but thought I'd post this little quote
Smile every chance you get.! Not because life has been easy, perfect, or exactly as you had anticipated, but because you choose to be happy and grateful for all the good things you do have and all the problems you know you don’t have. Never let a bad day make you feel like you have a bad life.
