    So today's little message:

Do something to make you feel better every single day. Even if it is something as simple as writing in a journal or painting your toenails. It can work miracles.

Today I'm going to paint my nails, both hands and feet as it always makes me feel upbeat. I'm also going to wash my hair and spend time styling it.

That'll be a weight off your mind then. Good!

This bit of the quote you posted resonated with me and I suspect one or two others, I will try to remember it

Never let a bad day make you feel like you have a bad life.

So today was the third nsd in a row. This will be spoilt tomorrow, coffee with a friend and Friday, lunch with work colleagues, but both will be relatively low spends

Our subconscious minds have no sense of humour, play no jokes and cannot tell the difference between reality and an imagined thought or image. What we continually think about eventually will manifest in our lives.- Sidney Madwed

Really pleased with myself today as had nsd#4, coffee called off as we were just too busy at work

I'm so tired tonight, I'm off to bed after posting

HE was quite difficult today and I found myself having to argue my point a lot. In each task HE changed to my way of thinking eventually, but goodness it was hard work

Thank goodness its Friday tomorrow, HE's half day and I'm hoping to finish early. I'm having lunch with some work colleagues too, so that'll take up more of the day. I've had such a productive week I can afford to ease up a bit tomorrow

    night all

When faced with 2 choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you, but because in that brief moment when the coin is in the air, you suddenly know what you are hoping for.

I posted last night but it disappeared

I had a lovely day, good lunch, catch up with old HIM and other work colleagues I haven't seen for a while. A very worthy £12 spend :o

Today has been nsd #5, mainly because I'm having one of my grump days and OH wanted to stay in after he finished work to watch sport (possibly the reason for my grump) He's worked a lot this week so is tired and doesn't seem bothered that we haven't had much time for each other this week. Was happy for me to sit in the same room as him as long as I didn't disturb his viewing by making too much noise. Needless to say that went down like a lead balloon so we've spent the afternoon and evening in separate rooms.

Mr T now want to do a review and have said they want more money, well I'm sorry but I've got no more to give. The cost of living has risen over the last 2 years and my pay has not gone up in line with that. It's the one down side to doing a self managed DMP, they all want to review at different times. I think the next time I write to anyone I'm going to say my financial advisor (me) will be doing the next review in 12mths and any reviews requested before that will just be told whether my situation has changed or not

    Today's quote
If it doesn't make you happy or improve your life in some way, why do it?

Good quote, one we should all go along with!

Sorry you've got the grumps. What is it with men and sport on TV? Where I'm working at the moment there's always sport on the TV. However, tonight there was no-one in the lounge area, very quiet night so I put Strictly Come Dancing on :D I just told the only man to come into the area that it was a Strictly come Snooker evening and he was welcome to join me....... Strangely enough he almost ran back to the snooker table and didn't bother me again....
