• Well I think you sound lovely...dare I say a dying breed of a decent gentleman (but I know there is a naughty side to you...I can tell!!;))

Thanks! :-) As for my naughty side... well, I couldn't possibly comment on that! ;-)

haha I'm in the north, for now at least. If i do end up relocating, one of the things i'm looking forward to most is meeting new people and getting away from northern men. I've had enough of them!

Well, if you end up in the Hants or Berks area give me a shout - always happy to make new friends! :-)

Oh my OP, thanks so much for starting this thread! It's like a whole new world has opened up for me! I am happily married but in desperate need of geeky friends! I am having to relocate and will lose daily contact with the only person I have ever met who loved learning more than I do!!! Now I know where to go to try and meet friends :)

I am a terrible geek, sci-fi and fantasy being my thing (or anything really, as long as I can learn something new!) :D I love sci-fi so much, I turned it into a PhD (in progress) :D

OP, I think you're seeking someone with natural intellectual curiosity. I hope you find the girl of your dreams, geeky or not :)

I'm always happy to make new friends so do drop me a PM or something if you want to chat about sci-fi or anything sometime. A PhD in sci-fi sounds like the height of awesomeness by the way! Where do you study for that?

I was wondering that too? Nothing in it offensive so dont know why it got removed
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

It will have been deleted because you were giving something away hun, they are a bit funny about people swapping personal details/selling items etc. They've done the same on the competition forum too when people have put tickets for things up for free to anyone who can use them x

EXCHANGING PERSONAL DETAILS

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons I have to discourage swapping, buying and selling on the forum (please see this rule). While it can be a very useful way of saving money it relies on a certain amount of trust between members and as such can cause problems (and has in the past). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

and the following is in the new forum rules

Why can't I give something to/buy something from someone on the forum?
The safety of our forum users is paramount and for this reason we can't allow anyone to exchange their personal details either on the open forum or via PM, however honourable the intention.
This means we don't allow selling/trading/exchanging/swapping or giving as gifts, nor links to your ebay auctions, or other forms of advertising.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
