Absolutely nothing. Except discussions. Going to start end of Jan. Not having a professional photographer as my partners brother used to do photograpy so getting him to do the professional ones at ceremony. Then we are buying and cooking the food for the reception. We know where we are getting dresses. And who is doing what. We've just got our wedding favour boxes and figured out what we are doing with them. Just got to go talk to some places about reception venues. Though we are hoping to have it at the local church hall which is 5 minutes up the road
So we've not got toooo much to do I supposexx

Hi all, how is everyone getting on?
We've had a bit of bad news recently which means our wedding fund is going to take a massive hit so now I'm having to rethink everything and dramatically cut costs where we can.
Cake, going to now attempt to make myself
Invitations, seriously thinking about not doing them, I have the phone number/email address of everyone that would be invited to the day so was thinking of just doing it word of mouth style and then emailing the venue details over should they be required.for the evening invitations was just going to mock up some postcards and send those, what do people think?
Table centres are sweet trees that I was going to make myself anyway
Favours/name places, trying to think of something to combine the two, preferably something I can do on the cheap
Flowers, eBay
Rings, no idea
Dress is already ordered and half paid for so no cut backs there but my step dad is paying for that anyway
Suits, think I've found a local place that will do them for £50 each
Can't think at the moment but I'm sure there are more ways to cut the costs!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 151

If you are looking for budget invitations, we got ours from this Ebay shop.
They only took about 3 days from ordering to receiving delivery, super quick.
You can choose the wording and the colour of ribbon.
The paper is really nice - you might think it is a bit thin, but if it was any thicker it would be harder to scroll.
The shop is temporarily closed until 21 January for restocking, but you can email them I think.

So far we have got our wedding favor boxes. Getting our table decorations in the post within the next couple of weeks. And we've got our save the date cards, and evening invitations.
I'm making all the invites, we just need to buy some cards to put them onto lol.
And our local church that my partner has attended since she was little, and the church I have attended for almost 3 years have said e can hire their hall for a nominal fee of £20Obviously have to sit down and discuss details but it is a step forward
Really just need to sort wedding dresses, our son's and our friends little boys suits, and possibly our flower girls dress (not sure if we are having her yet lol) and then just buy food for reception, which my future-father-in-law is cooking and putting out for us, then a car to get us to the wedding venue (which may be a taxi as a family friend drives one)
But I feel we are on target so far as not wanting to buy dresses/suits until last minute due to children growing, and my partner and I trying to lose weightxx

I managed to find some shoes and matching bag from Debenhams Sale - both cost £14 with added discount code! BARGAIN! ...and the shoes fit beautifully!!
