Sorry all - I am defecting to the April thread as we have completely changed our plans! I will do my best to keep this post updated with everyone elses wedding dates though!

We've gone with 28th September 2013. We're hoping for Autumn colours and a nip in the air but I'm sure it'll just rain any how!

I was looking at the August 2013 thread and freaked out at how much people had already organised. Being a coward I stopped reading. :rotfl:

We've only got the basics done, registrar, venue, tog. Looking forward to the big day and the ceremony but there seems to be so much to do!

Well OH has been told to get his backside to the registry office this week to check he likes the surroundings so I can book the date and time, especially as we have found the cars we want and I need to book by 3rd June to get the discount they offered!

I had an offer from vistaprint this morning for 10 free large magnets so have ordered some :j

Ooh, can I join? We were going to get married abroad on 1st sept this year, but we've put it back a year due to a death in h2b's family. It was just all too much for us (and his family as it was his younger brother) so we've do now decided to do it all more locally, cheaper and with more of our friends and family around us. We're much more excited about it now, but it does mean starting all over again.

So all we have done is provisionally booked a registrar and I have some pretty white flip flops...if feels like there is just do much to do!

Thanx! It's still the 1st, both my parents and grandparents were married this date, do we're making it a hat trick

If I wasn't so set on the date (I lost both my gparents a couple of years ago too) I'd have just done it as soon as possible. It seems to be a popular date though, lots of people I know seem to have either got married that date ur are planning to

I wish I didn't have so long to wait too! It's OH that pushed for next September and this morning he said to me, can't we just get married in a few weeks time and make the Maldives our honeymoon? :rotfl:
