You wont lose out on tomorrows money, that will have been paid out by them on Monday, so already on its way to you. I was late last year as well but they let me renew the day after the "last day" - probably managed to get through as lots of people will have thought it was too late then, so if no luck today, try again tomorrow :beer:0 -
So frustrated! Been trying to tell them that i have started a new job, but have been unable to get through since Monday!
Tried again (for the 4th time today) just a second ago and after 3 mins was told "if you need to talk about tax credits, you need to dial 0345 300 3900"...thats all very well, BUT THATS THE NUMBER I WAS USING!!
Then it cut me off!!0 -
Just got through in overseas number from my mobile. Was asked where I was calling from and I said "home" (lol... Couldn't bare to lie!). He asked why I called that number so I said I stored it in my phone as I'd been trying while on holiday. Was firmly told that I should use the 0345 number in future and another operator may have refused to take my call, but he would complete my renewal on this occasion (phew!). All done.... Good luck! It's been emotional0

Just got through no problem on 0345 no. and it's open until 10pm tonightStarting to save £2 coins again, but it is a struggle:rotfl:Not doing very well keep spending them

Well I've been trying repeatedly for two days and cannot get through - in fact now I don't even get the menu, it just says "We're sorry, we cannot deal with your call at the moment".
I feel like a complete idiot as I don't appear to have had a renewal pack at all and I've only just realised ... my only excuse is that I have been recovering from a fairly major operation for the last 6 weeks and tbh most of the time I haven't even known what day of the week it is, let alone the date!0 -
I've not been able to get through for two days either, mostly getting the we can't take your call now and the line hanging up.
Tried that phone number mentioned above from my landline which doesn't work as others have said. Tried it from my mobile, got through first time, waited on hold for about 5 mins then spoke to a lovely helpful lady, renewal done in a 20 min call including holding time.0 -
I've been put off using that by the thought of being told off tbh! Not up to dealing with that atm...0

Finally got through to hold music then after 10 minutes a message came on saying they were closed??? I thought they were open till 10pm??? I have been trying for 2 weeks to get through im so angry!!!!!0

I've been trying to renew every week on my day off since mid-June when I got my pack and haven't got through! Took today off to try and have just made my 50th call of the day!! Still not got through, haven't even got to hold music stage, just get the "we're sorry, we can't take your call right now, try again another time".I've heard the spiel so many times now I know it off by heart! Even had 2 phones on the go at one stage, still no luck!0
