you need to remember to only have on HTTP: in the text box :) It inserts one for you automatically - which can be annoying ;)

I remember seeing something on tv saying that flowers I think lillies where the culprets had a pollen in them that makes cats not well so if you have them about check it isn't that causing it. I am not a vet or even a cat person but I do remeber seeing that.

no flowers around. i did think of that, and did have some daffs in the kitchen, but he didnt even get near them luckily!!

its a mystery! he still has upset tummy, even tho he has been on the prescription food since sat which apparently is a "rapid solution to diarrhoea"! not rapid enough for my liking!

Did the vet say what was causing the gunky eyes and nose? Sounds to me as if he has some sort of cold/virus which could also be affecting his tummy.

asked the vet about the eye problem too and she said it is normal for cats with light coloured faces to get eye bogeys (not that she called them that!) and that if the upset tummy doesnt get better to bring him back in 2 weeks with a sample (that could be interesting!)

His temperature etc was fine and she couldnt find anything abnormal anywhere else. She said the upset tummy isnt too much to worry about becuase other than that he is a very healthy cat.

The pollen idea just triggered something... What do you use to wash down your surfaces with? Anything like Dettol or ANY disinfectant that turns cloudy in water? They are poisonous to cats...

Don't use dettol or similar, just use Stardrops to clean everywhere and bleach down the loo - but keep the lid down at all times in case cats get in there! I tend to keep them out of the bathroom - and he doesnt go into the kitchen at the moment either. It is just a mystery to me! I cant work it out at all!

I must admit since feeding him the prescription food my vet gave me it is less runny (eww) and more like cow pats!
