  • LOL Iams gives my cat the trots, he prefers Purina One dry food. Unfortunately so does every other cat within half a mile.
If you think reality makes sense, you're just not paying attention!

LOL I think it depends on each individual cat to be honest :) If you can then call the RSPCA and ask them what he was on whilst there :) My dog came from the RSPCA and she had an upset tummy for the first few days after arriving. She's on a dry food with NO colourants and as few ingredients as possible. The less addatives the better :) I bulk her out with left overs like veg and little bits of meat and if anything she's a little too cuddly ;) She eats ANYTHING and everything so I have to mind her weight very carefully...

oops - yeah did do it instantly. these blinking animals are a nightmare!!
so i'll do chicken with a little bit of felix for the rest of the week, but think i will still take him to the vet for check up, just in case there is something more to it.

Im useless at these sort of things!!

The other slight problem i have with him is he seems to get "eye bogeys" in the corner of his eyes almost every day, i wipe them away with warm water on cotton pad, but they still appear daily! and sometimes up his nose - eww!

and i have ordered him a fountain as he jumps into the sink when i am trying to brush my teeth!! LOL

I hope Rusty gets better soon. Despite all the tummy problems Im sure he is over the moon to be living in your house instead of the RSPCA.
I am curious about the cat fountain? My cat likes playing with the tap, and again doesnt drink water out of the bowl. Could you post me a link to where you got it please?
    Thanks

The snot problem could be something like conjunctivitis - the vet can give you something for that.
I am not stubborn. I am merely correct.
  • Hi, my 10 yr old cat has recently started having periods of vomiting and bloody diarrhoea, the vomiting occuring about 5 mins after eating. Took her to the vets and all they did was give her antibiotic injections each time, they don't seem to know what the problem is either. I thought it may be the food (she's always had go cat, and her brother never has any problem with it) so changed to Olli (found it in Tesco) and she's only been sick twice since.

You need to ask your vets to investigate the cause. :)

    Hi Loopy lou lou

I had a cat once that had a sensitive tummy and reacted the same to Felix. I fed him on Nature's Menu sachets which are more expensive but I would imagine not quite as expensive as boiled chicken everyday

It would do no harm to get him checked at the vets anyway. Not sure I would give him an extra worming tablet without checking with vet first but that is just my personal opinion.

i took him to the vets, who he scratched rather badly! how embarresing!

he is on a prescription cat food for 2 weeks which cost me £50!!! ahhh!

he loves his water fountain tho, which i was very pleased about!

fingers crossed the cat food does the trick!
