Cat with poorly tummy (I have added some pics of him!!)

Did the vet give you probiotic crystals? When my cat had a dodgy tummy as a kitten, I remember spending a fortune at the vets who claimed he had cat IBS!!! He had to have iams sensitive tummy cat food, the crystals (which he loved as they were chicken flavour) and some tablets crushed in his food. I was just wondering whether a little bit of natural yoghurt may help like it does for humans, seeing as it has friendly bacteria in it?

My vet recommended scrambled egg and drinking water only for a few days....have used it a few times now and my Smokes is still purring happily beside me...(when did I become the mad woman with cats!!!)
