Mighty Deals have my money :-(

  • Dear MoneySavingExpert customers --- this company has my money but refuses to send me my product, and fails to reply to my concerns both addressed directly to their supposed customer service email and to this forum: Case ID#1015659

    Note the following is a repost:

    I bought a voucher for an iPhone that was going to expire on March 10 2015. On March 8 I wrote to Mighty Deals and asked if I can upgrade the voucher by paying more to get a more featured phone iPhone they were selling.

    Despite committing to reply within two business days, that is before the expiry of the voucher, Mighty Deals waited until it had run out then told me it had expired and could not be redeemed.

    I notice someone on the board posts from Mighty Deals, perhaps she can respond? Case ID#1015659

    If you can prove the timeline of events, i'd be inclined to launch a small claims action if you can't get any joy.

    I responded to your email last week about needing to have my refund released back to my PayPal account, but am still waiting for this to happen. In fact, I have been awaiting a refund since last year and would appreciate this being actioned asap.

    I am getting little response from emails sent to MIGHTY DEALS re voucher M4D7DE793 which has not been received.
    I have REQUESTED A REFUND BUT NO-ONE HAS REPLIED SINCE MY REFUND REQUEST.
    Customer services is appalling and the fact that there is no tel number is a poor show for the company.
    Would someone take responsibility for my complain please and sort my refund out

    I have just contacted the merchant for you, because this item was sent to you insured and tracked, they require a signature. Royal Mail have tried on 3 occasions to deliver, and it has now been returned to the seller as undeliverable.

    The merchant has asked if you would like the item re-sent to a different address perhaps, or refunded in Mighty Cash Credit which is how you paid?

    Thank you very much for the refund, which I finally received after waiting 4 months.

    It does seem as if you are trying to promise more than you can deliver. It is a shame that Mighty Deals is not able to take on board all the difficulties encountered by customers. I do not want anybody else to go through all the anguish I have experienced.
