Sounds like a lovely day yesterday, Lucky..please-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »While we were swimming in the small pool, DH wanted to do a few lengths in the big pool and DS1 wanted to go with him. Off they went and then DH returned to the small pool alone, he'd forgotten DS1! This in itself wasn't a major problem as DS1 is a good little swimmer and could find his way back to us if needs be, but it was a stark reminder of how bad DH's memory can actually be. Fancy forgetting your own child!
Well, he's on a par with D. Cameron then, which could either be a comfort or rather worrying, lol.0 -

Hi all, what a day!
With it being half term we can't go to the gym, so Mr Lucky went out jogging in the fields around our village first thing. I track him with an app called runkeeper so I can make sure he is ok. He's allowed in the immediate area as he has lived here all his life and it's recognisable to him post accident as it hasn't changed in the 36 years he's lived here. The app told me he'd stopped and I just knew something was wrong. I called his phone and a lady answered, saying she and her daughter were out riding their horses and had come across him lying on the ground unconscious and bloody. They'd called an ambulance and I explained about his epilepsy, while simultaneously panicking and trying to get some clothes on (I'd been in the shower and had wet hair and everything!). We met the ambulance in a country lane a few minutes later and DH was in a right mess. He's scraped all down one side of his face and also the backs of his hands while he's been seizuring on rough ground. The ambulance crew rightly wanted to get him checked out at hospital so we all spent 5 hours at A&E while he had xrays etc. Thankfully nothing is broken so we were allowed home. I don't know who looked worse, DH who looks like he's been beaten up, or me who looks like a bag lady with frizzy hair and yesterday's clothes on!!
