I always get the most awful headaches midcycle. The joys of being a woman I guess.
I am so so glad you are feeling better Lucky and such a nice thing to spend quality time with DH. I am looking forward to doing that with my OH this weekend.

So pleased to hear things are picking up for you. Well done on the weight loss and glad Mr Lucky has come to his senses and is treating you as you deserve. He has some serious creeping to do in my opinion! Italian sounds lovely and I'm glad you enjoyed it - you deserve a treat more than anyone!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thank you everyone :A. It was definitely the right thing to do re spending time together, sometimes you have to live a little rather than always worrying about money and diets!
DS2 got a lovely report for parents evening, so even if they can both be little toads at home, they are both good at school which I suppose if preferable!
Got my Carer's Centre appointment this afternoon so just pottering this morning. Going to make a pot of ratatouille and a bolognaise. Half term starts after today for us, and DH has an endocrinologist appointment tomorrow so I'm just trying to get ahead and make life a little easier while I have the chance.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Hi PLMBL
Good news about the parents evening :j.
Good luck today at the Carers meeting, hope it goes well. You are very good getting meals prepared, make me think I ought to get off the computer and actually DO SOMETHING!!!.
Wish our half term started today, our have still got Friday to go before we can relax.
Keep smiling hun xxx0 -
Hi PLMBL,
Yours was a diary I started reading soon after I joined and the first page left me stunned - have dipped in and out but not had time to read through all of it (will do one day!). You're an inspiration to all and have had to deal with so much, and done it amazingly.
Thought I had posted before but obviously hadn't:( - find it tricky to keep track!
In awe:)

Hi Steph, hope I didn't make you do too much
! Most of the Mums at school think I'm weird for looking forward to half term, but I love it! Glad you are looking forward to yours too.
NOA, lovely to have you here! I just read the first page of my diary to see what you meant, and I suppose it did seem I had a lot on my plate. Unfortunately, things got worse not better, but I'm still here, alive and kicking!
Sparky, I hope you have a wonderful time on your date, and well done for making it an MSE one!
I had my Carer's Centre appointment earlier. The girl was lovely, but it was really just a form filling exercise as she took down a lot of info about my situation and what support I already have. One of the things she asked me was what I'd do to have some relaxation time if I could, if money was no object. I said I'd book into a nice hotel and just chill out with a few beauty treatments, a good book and a glass of wine. Then I'd sleep all night uninterrupted! Bliss! She then said they have a fund I could apply to for up to £250 to make that become a reality! I immediately panicked about what would happen to DH and the boys :rotfl:. She said I could also apply to the fund for a family trip instead, but only my costs would be covered. She gave me all the paperwork but a quick scan seems to rule me out of the fund criteria, as you have to be registered with certain GP surgeries and mine isn't one of the ones listed.
I've been back well over an hour and DH hasn't asked me anything about it. He has been busy fiddling with something and he is so tunnel visioned that he can't think about anything but what he is doing.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
