As I said earlier, Mrs G finds that using weights accelerates fat loss. However, she also eats sensibly too. Weights on their own don't work.
The benefit of using weights over pure dieting is that you end up slimmer and more toned into the bargain.
thanks, that does help I think I'm feeling this way because I over-indulged over the weekend (due to how I'm feeling) but I think cutting back and a good exercise plan will help me feel better.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. ...get yourself a 'Just Dance' game on the Wii or the Kinect.

I broke the habit of a lifetime this afternoon and got off the couch.
12 year old daughter and I are playing Just Dance on the Kinect and I am absolutely knackered.
I had no idea you could burn so many calories. Sweat is dripping off me (sorry
) and my heart rate is up.
Definitely recommend it for an exercise routine. (I hate exercise normally.
)
Gotta go....Donna Summer and 'I feel Love' is calling. :rotfl:
Do you need a lot of space for the Just Dance game? And could it be noisy if you have neighbours below you (ie, jumping around a lot etc)?
We have a Kinect, but I rarely use it due to the space issue. We have about an 7ft by 6ft space (I think, I'm guessing) in front of the TV (once the coffee table has been moved). So I'm not sure if it would be enough space, but I've wanted to get and play that one since it came out!!!! :rotfl:February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

I've just measured the rug (which is the space we needed).
160cm x 160cm. This is the area we actually used to move in.
This section was 5 foot from the Kinect. (Kinect is above the tv.)
Daughter stood just in front of me and a little to the left, I was behind and a little to the right. Sensor picked everything up fine.
Oh and btw, unless you dance like a Gorilla, I don't think it would annoy the neighbours.

all this talk of games.

Perhaps so, but in my case it was about interacting with my daughter in a fun way that both of us got something out of, more than intending it to be a professional workout.
I do think for those who are anti exercise for whatever reason, this is a good, fun way to get moving.
Then hopefully it will encourage and lead on to the more traditional types of exercise.Herman - MP for all!

I would put money its more likely to frustrate most, with lack of results TBH0 -
