To be fair, that is your personal opinion. I'd be quite happy to lose some muscle as well as fat so the scales do matter to me. I want to reduce my overall weight to reduce the strain on my system. My choice for my body. :)

    indeed it is

you are however one of a few people who would be happy to be skinny fat

:rotfl:I'll never be skinny fat, I'd never allow my fat % to reach those levels. I'm just naturally muscular.

Within the healthy range for my age and sex. ;)

I'm a health professional, so I should hope so. :)

are you nuts alias? I am not overwieght (I weigh 8 stone and at 5 foot thats ok)! I do allow that I am unfit though! bit difficult to do exercise whether its WII or whatever when you are disabled.
lmao - in my 'fit' days I used to do Tae Kwon Do and was really fit (despite being a smoker). Then I got this horrible degenerative disease - despite that I wanted to be fit - so I got a video based on Tae Kwon do which seemed to be what I needed.
    ROFLMAO -
edit - I thought I had deleted my post - but for some reason part of it got posted!
I realised after buying the Tae Bo video that I AM disabled - I couldnt even get through the warm up. despite being a Green belt!
I hope I retain enough knowledge to defend myself (my main reason for doing martial arts) and enough muscle memory to do it!
at the same time - I AM disabled and I cannot achieve a level of fitness anywhere near even a first grade in Tae Kwon Do.
Fitness cannot be banked - I USED to be fit - and now I am not. I can't do anything about that. my body wont let me. I do what I can and I do more than most people in my situation - at least I am not in a wheelchair or bedbound!

...get yourself a 'Just Dance' game on the Wii or the Kinect. :D

I broke the habit of a lifetime this afternoon and got off the couch. :D

12 year old daughter and I are playing Just Dance on the Kinect and I am absolutely knackered.

I had no idea you could burn so many calories. Sweat is dripping off me (sorry :o) and my heart rate is up.

Definitely recommend it for an exercise routine. (I hate exercise normally. :D)

Gotta go....Donna Summer and 'I feel Love' is calling. :rotfl:

I love the Just Dance! It certainly makes you sweat

I had Zumba (on the Wii) for christmas, but find it too complicated for me.

Any other suggestions for Wii keeping fit type games? I have Active sports which is good, but I get bored with the same ones and have to rotate them.

I've got EA Active and EA Active More Workouts for Wii. I think they work well, but I bought a much stronger resistance band as the one supplied is pretty flimsy and I didn't feel it was working me hard enough.

I've been doing those plus going running outside since January. My weight on the scales has remained about the same, but I've lost inches and dropped a clothing size (occasionally two sizes depending on fit!) I'd definitely go on measurements rather than weight.
Here I go again on my own....
  • for WII games try the biggest loser ones

EA active personal trainer 1 and 2 and more workouts

even things like WII sports and WII sports resorts are good

DONT get your shape, pile of poop

same here, weight means very little tbh

15 stone of fat is not going to be the same as 15 stone of muscle

i would happily stay this weight (14 stone 1) if i was all muscle lol
